Re: Which Mattress To Buy and Points to Consider

I got a very good night sleep at one of the resort hotels last week and the mattress was Snoozer Posture care. What's the feedback of others, I like firm mattresses and am presently a sort of happy customer of Sunday.

What's the best way to order Snoozer? I don't see an option to choose Queen size, do they operate online only or have stores as well? Any real-world feedback will be appreciated.

Donate to someone/someplace or put for takeaway on OLX. Many people do require it who are on a shoestring budget.

We bought a Snoozer Posture Care 72X78X8 inch mattress in 2014 after a similar experiece at one of the hotels.

The only way to buy then was from fabmart.com. They did custom sizes as well and the one we ordered cost ~50k. The overall buying experience was fine - nothing special and no issues either. We did have to arrange for help at the time of delivery as the mattress had to be carrier 5 floors up via stairs.

The mattress definitley feels very plush and is super comfotable for sleeping. Having said that, it is defintily not the right choice for everyone:
- Is more on the soft side and there is a sinking in feeling to it while sitting, making it uncomfortable (especially for heavier people) for watching tv or working on a laptop.
- Won't recommend it for people with lower pack pain complaints. Again too soft.
- If you are a light sleeper, your partner's movements may bother you
- Kids absolutely love to jump on this mattress!

We are also looking to replace it now and are considering Sunday Ortho Latex 4 as one of the options.

Re: Which Mattress To Buy and Points to Consider

I spend a lot of time lurking on team bhp - so I was all the surprised to find out that a motoring community had a mattress thread.

And then I was glad because finally I could get reliable information - in this age of digital marketing that's become so rare .

So I am in the market for a Firm Latex mattress and have shortlisted Foams india or Morning Owl.

I live in Mumbai neither of these brands have showrooms here, which is why I plan to go with Morning Owl since they have a 100 day return.

Foams India doesn't, else would have 100% selected them based on their glowing feedback here.

I would appreciate any feedback/experience wrt Morning Owl from our members

Thanks Ro

Morning owl’s pillow is excellent. So, i wanted to get their mattress.

I asked them about how to return the mattress in case if I need to. They simply replied that there is a 100 days trial, and didn’t give an answer about how to return. I am expecting pick up at door, but i can proceed only if they do!

Thank you for the feedback on the pillow.
FYI exact details of the return policy are stated in their FAQs.

I understand what your getting at thou, in comparison to other brands they come across as not trying very hard to get your business - I don't if that's coz they are anyways doing well wrt sales and don't need to hardshell or....

Only question is will they have same approach in case of returns etc

Update : I bought Sleepwell Revital 2.0 mattress, it served my purpose of not being too firm and also not being too soft. The size is 7ft x 6.5 ft and it costed me approx Rs 32K.

Feedback would be appreciated. We have chosen the 120 density latex mattress which feels comfortable.

Re: Which Mattress To Buy and Points to Consider

We got the Firm Ortho 6inch. We have been using it since about mid Dec21 and are pleased with the buy.

It allows the right amount of support while also moulding it self to body shape - which is the reason latex mattresses are considered the best.

At 1 point even got greedy and thought to exchange it for the 8inch mattress: Even thou the customer care was amenable to the exchange, we didn't end up exchanging it thou as the 8 inch mattress requires more maintainance such as rotation & flipping.

Bought the Medium Firm Latex mattress and I am LOVING it. The free pillows are totally crappy and I had neck pain them doubting my decision. I replaced them with the normal ones and it has been a wonderful night journey!

The BEST thing about it is, whether it is hot or cold outside, the mattress remains at normal temperature. Don't know how but that's really cool.

Go ahead and buy it blindly.
