I seriously do not understand how an always under performing player like Harbhajan Singh is found to be a straight fit into the playing 11.

He is the most useless bowler in India's line-up.

Indians areonly going for 6's and loosing the plot. First time i see more 6's hit in an innings than 4's. is it the size of the ground???

Yes. You are correct. The ground size in NZ are smaller compared to anywhere else in the globe.

I think India would have been in a better position had they played a bit sensibly.

Yes Deky, all the grounds in NZ are a lot smaller at sqare of the wickets on either sides.

Maybe cos he is a good bat too and has been performing in recent past. In fact today he helped Raina in posting a decent score.

Anyways the match is gone and i saw Indias full batting innings. Reckless and overconfident. Because NZ coach said India is current no.1 they played as no other team existed. Am glad for NZ to come back in match and winning after the smashing from sehwag.

India needs to have a hard look on todays performance and Dhoni should give some pep talk. We are world champions in 20/20 and this was not a champions display at all.

I did not see the match but was following it from Cricinfo. I thought the Indians took NZ very lightly and paid the price for it. First match of the fresh series and these people went in a slam-bang manner. Some one like Yuvi or Dhoni should have stayed a bit on the crease. I understand its a T-20 but Mccullum played an awesome innings and that should teach Indians a lesson.

Now coming to a familier point .. Again Rohit Sharma... For this guy Ravinder Jadeja did not get a chance despite of displaying some good batting in the SL ODI. I would hate to miss him for Rohit in the next T20 game. If not Jadeja why not replace him with a fast bowler .. I dont mind who the replacement guy is as long as he replaces this no stroke wonder boy.

We might have done well with the part timers in SL, but in NZ it totally looks a different ball game. Yuvi 1 over 17 .. Y Pathan 3 overs for almost 40 .. there I guess the major part of the match was lost .

@Sam- ahh.. How could i forgot my fav sub- rohit sharma.
Now Sam as you were seeing updates on cricinfo just take some time out in evening and see his dismissal anywhere. You got to see it to believe how ridiculous the shot was considering India needed some solid partnership at that moment. Yaar even our bhajji plays better than this so called wonder boy(whose wonder might come on earth in the 30th century).
Please someone get a replacement(like badrinath, jadeja or any new boy)

Guys chill out - Its a T20 - all T20s can go either way irrespective of the reputation of the side.

Just hope that our boys don't go overboard in their excitement about the small grounds and go slam bang even in the one dayers and tests.

I think one of the most biggest reason of not winning today was our batting.
