You are going to be burnt at stake for that question!

Why a pod? Surely you may not be able to establish the time duration when the pods were done and you had them. Not much help on the machine side from me.

Why not nespresso itself? Keep an eye out on Amazon, the price frequently drops to 11-12k. Picked a krups mini a couple of months back. Working great!

Haha, I love how easy it is to get my daily fix. Anyways got this one for 11k. There are quite a few other options as well, should be similar.

Krups is not an Indian brand. Check whether warranty is available. Else you can go with coffeeza or Lavazza.

Re: A Yetiguide® to Coffee

Got this DeLonghi Vertuo Pop for 10.5K off Amazon after card discounts etc.
https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B0B...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Slightly old stock but unused and made in Hungary. Bullied a returning US cousin into buying a selection of pods on his way back too. Trying them now to figure out what we like and what we don't.

Coffee/tea bar nicely set up now!

Re: A Yetiguide® to Coffee

Hello everyone, looking for some help here

My wife's birthday is coming up next month, and I am planning to gift her a good coffee grinder. She is someone who loves her coffee, and has been experimenting with different coffee/brewing styles (I am a total noob when it comes to coffee, so I am not even sure if I am explaining it correctly).

Anyways, she had told me last year that she would love to get an electric grinder, so I am here to ask for help and see if there is a recommended product used by anyone among us (Budget is flexible, currently thinking of 10-20K price range, but ok to move up a bit if needed).

I noticed some brands like Baratza and Cafe Birraio on Amazon. Do they work for our power wattage?

Hi, first of all very considerate of you to listen and remember and gift her something she wants on her birthday

Don’t personally use one - I’m not that evolved in my game yet to invest this much! But I’ve only heard great things about the Baratza Encore, pretty much top of the line as far as burr grinders go. Since you’re a self proclaimed coffee noob maybe talk to the company selling it for details. I think the wattage shouldn’t be an issue the ones being sold here will come with an adapter. My coffee maker that I got from the UK has one. This link is a company that also helps with tech support.

One more vote for Baratza Encore. Had bought it from Blue Tokai's online store 8 years ago and it was 220volts version.

Re: A Yetiguide® to Coffee

I was at Keurig headquarters in Boston for two weeks this month - we are helping them with their smart brewers. The offices have an amazing collection of coffee, easily more than 200 types.

That reminded me of this thread, and Sam.

Mods: apologies if irrelevant, please delete.

Wow 200 varieties of COFFEEE that's something I'm hearing for the first time. Great collection indeed. Any Indian variety there?
