The most boring match of the WC so far IMO. Apart from a few good passes, there has not been much action, not even any fouls or yellow/red cards. I'm glad that both the teams are playing a fair game, but the excitement is missing. I'm almost sleepy and had to resort back to facebook to keep my eyes open. Hope the second half will be interesting. Viva La Espana !!

Octopus Baba ki jai ho !!
Though Spain lacked finesse, they packed enough punch to get into the finals.
Waiting for the ultimate showdown between Spain and Netherlands. Go Go Spain !!

Body language of Spain showed tremendous determination. Determined to play the way they plan, and bog the opponent down to their level. Netherlands would find a tough match.

Octopus was playing, in the minds of the Germans. They were not the usual self today. May be we should give credit to Spain too.

If that boy Pedro had passed, the score would have read 2-0.

The last few minutes were good but overall a boring match.

Shocker ain't it! I thought the way they were playing they would take the cup home. Now I need to find a picture of a crashed Mercedes.

So the German story is over. Hats off to them. Until this game they played some wonderful Football

Today they seemed to be circumspect from the start and gave the eager Spaniards a lot of possession. Watching Spain maintain possession was like watching a Python suffocating it's prey. The game opened up a lot in the 2nd half but the German's lacked the bite to score that the goal to make it even steven.

Spain had a few chances to seal it on the counter but they failed to do so and Pedro selfishly wasting that Golden opportunity was unpardonable

So it's going to be European Final once again and Holland Vs Spain should be an interesting contest. No predictions here but I feel that the Spanish have an edge. But whoever wins history is going to be created.
