Rajeev, I guess you are talking about the BDA's Mini forest developed in the eighties.
The present JP nagar was bounded by this when I was a kid and we used to go learn cycling in and around this area.
I'm glad that it has remained a forest this long.
Great pictures of the green belt within the concrete jungle.

Nice to see a thread on this place.
I lived in Arekere Mico Layout (BG Road) for 3 years and this forest was my morning walk/Jog place. There is a concrete road on in the middle of the forest (vehicles are not allowed) so a very quite place for a morning walk.

Now I stay very near to the forest near SahakarNagar, Though I have not explored this area much, but I think the forest starts just after the railway track opposite to our Appartments.

This place is very near to my office. (Infact we share a common boundary wall). This is our favorite hangout place, for a afternoon break from office. Some days we disappear for a full after noon,discussing any thing from cars to sheela :-)
