Agreed. I liked the stork. If you wanna shoot these fellas in natural habitat, Bharathpur is the place. I wonder how those pelicans are nesting in Zoo.

Those are pairs of "Scaly Breasted Munias" Cute little birds, and one of the favorite for Poachers. You can find these birds in pet shops. We have some unbelievably beautiful Munias in India. Google "Red Avadavat" (One of my wish list) and see whats coming up. You can find them on our country side.

See how sad it is. These birds (Indian Long Billed Vulture) are nearing Extinction :-( can you believe, these birds are as important as Tigers when it comes to wildlife act. Most of them are wiped out due to Kidney failure. Thanks to pesticides, Due to to which their egg shells became so soft (Like soft Skin) and it never hatches. They feed on cattle carcass on our countryside, and they had the fate like this. Pesticides---->Grass--->Cattle----->Vultures. You can see some surviving examples in Ramanagara between Mysore and Bangalore.

That Owl is "Tagged" (Look at the leg) so happy to see these guys are serious about their wildlife.

It always saddens me to see these majestic birds in a cage, and in keeping with the theme, here are a few pics of kites and a vulture

I like the First shot. You can Re-Work on exposure, just open it in PS and reduce the exposure.
