This was posted on the tbhp orkut community by thief. Whenever he tries to access the forum, he gets this error http://img479.imageshack.us/img479/445/errorxw0.jpg . He says no other page opens.
Any idea why this happens?

Got it. The blue is back, you may choose it from the bottom left of each page.

Thanks for getting the blue theme back.

One more small thingy, Is there a member by the id pioneer? He/she/it is there in the top posters list as the highest poster for last 7 days but theres not a single post to be found in the forum from him/her/it. Even when you do an advanced search for posts by user pioneer it shows up none.

hey the same thing is happening to some other members as well, i was viewing a profile yesterday (dont remember the id/name) and when i tried to access the posts made by that member it showed no results.!

one more thing the profile of `.anshuman` shows that he is a bhpian with 538 posts but if you view the profile it shows he is a newbie with 46 posts ???

Is it not worthwhile to have an exclusive section on glossary of technical terms ? For example, we use the terms 'torque', 'bhp', 'drive train' etc almost everyday in our posts. Though we have a good number of quality enthusiasts on the forum who know automobiles thread bare to the minutest detail, I suppose we should also care for novices who are keen on enriching their knowledge in the automobile domain. Having a glossary section can also lead to reduction of unwanted posts where a member comes up with a question on these terms for which he may find an answer in the glossary section.

Real Names in Members List

Hi,

Was just wondering if it would be too much of a uphill task to put the real names/age of members as well in the members list against their ID's.

There is a thread on that but I found it very cumbersome to find the real name of (say xyz for eg) as the thread goes into pages and the profiles dont give the real names.

Is there a simpler way to do it. As far as privacy goes I think most active members have already mentioned their names on the thread.

Such a thread already exists, just need to search for it.

Most people wouldn't like their real names or age mentioned, so we will leave it like that.

Viper,

You could use the "search this thread" feature (its on the bar immediately above the 1st post on every page of every thread) > got to advanced, and then search by user name.

Other than that, Samurai has mentioned our viewpoint.

How abt another feature: Members Car of The Month poll? This would be a poll by members of featured members' rides - and a winner is chosen monthly. The selection criteria could have multiple categories like maintenance, performance transformation and usability, mods etc. Some democratic way of selecting the monthly candidates can be worked out I'm sure.

Please rename the Indian Car Loans section to Car Finance & Insurance section since that section contains Insurance articles also.

Some of us cannot access team BHP from our office domain as the site is blocked saying the page is categorised as "Chat"

Can we change the team BHP site registry to say something more serious than what "chat" would convey, say "automotive" or "technical"
