But, there's an alternative. Break all rules regularly and consistently and the support team will help you out.

This was way back in 2006.
Do we still dont have this feature?

There is a way to remove subscription

1) Go to USer CP

2) Click on View all subscriptions

3) Select the subscription which you want to delete

4) Select 'Delete Subscription' from the pick list/drop down menu at the bottom & click Go.

This will do the trick

Can we have the feature of the member able to see his own posts in a thread?
I have seen this in some of the forums where you have a link in the threads list (similar to the link we have for seeing only the attachments) which will take you directly to the page where you have posted so that you can read the thread from there and check for any replies!

99% of ads in the Classifieds section are from Newbies. I don't think they ever post on the forum section. And some of their posts are rude and sometimes the ads are blatantly commercial.

Problem with this is that we cannot buy what is sold there believing it is tbhpian owned. On the other hand, if only BHPians are allowed to post, we can buy with more confidence.

how does someone multiquote one quote into ten statements?

like ten lines, and reply to each pint separately, but each one quoting appropriately.

I second this. I would keep my personal cap at "Senior BHPian" actually. Because in most of the dealings, you are reqd to deposit money in the seller's account.

But with a Senior-BHPian, I guess its more safe. So safe that I deposited money (10k) in viper's account without even seeing the product. It was packed and delivered in top-class condition, something which I knew would take place

Also, the classifieds section is not moderated much. Lots of fighting and silly quarrels go on. One can see a lot of newbies selling one mobile phone a day and wanting us to believe that they are not used phone dealers!

Mods, please do something about this.

This is done by manually editing the quote.

What you would need to do is copy the start tag as well as end tag of the quote, and paste it before and after every line of the post which you have now copied seperately as required.

Hope that clears your doubt. If not, ask again.

Guys,

We hear you loud and clear about the issues with the Classifieds section. As we have mentioned before, we have something new on the way, so please hang in there for a while.

Being a senior BHPian, you should be able to. Can you give us more info please.

At the moment, from within a thread : search this thread > advanced search > all posts by pulsar56 in the thread.

It has to be broken up manually.

Start a quote with one of the following:
[quote=phamilyman;1170561] (you can copy this tag from the original quote - it will link back to that post.)
or
[quote=phamilyman] (you can type the members name manually)
or
[quote] (plain and simple blank quote)

Quotes should always end with the [/quote] tag.

Addition is possible but modification ain't.

Also i am not able to access the TEAM option in the ABOUT US on the Top. It says you do not have access to this page.

That section is open to guests and thus, has no permission set on it at all. I just tried from another computer and was able to view it just fine. Could you post a screenshot?
