We already have 4 theme options. As posted earlier, no additional development work is expected in the near future. We'd rather spend those resources on other value-adds.

2. Why on mozilla firefox theme's are not working?
I know for a fact that many BHPians use firefox and haven't really heard a complaint. Any comments from other users on this?

Is there a policy in place for the review of the D-BHP status? Eg. if a particular BHPian does not contribute much over a period of time, will the D-BHPian status be revoked? Or is it a one way process?

Good question.
To add to this i would also like to know the criteria of selecting a D-bhpian (does not imply that i want to be one as my knowledge is quiet limited in technical stuff, for me a good car and me on driving seat means just one thing- it should fly)

I think its mentioned here:

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/announ...-benefits.html

Its mentioned " Distinguished BHPian : Only by invitation, and based on contribution to the Team-BHP ".

I wanted to know what kind of contribution and in which field. Like is it specific to cars, ice etc or something general as well.

If you look at the list of DBHPians the answer should become clear.

HappyWheels,

Heres another solution for opera users :

Also, if you prefer to just open the page in IE or FF, heres another great way to do it!

Proxima,

As the Announcement thread says -- "significant and consistent contribution", and yes that does encompass "continual contribution" as well. It is most certainly not a one-way process.

Hayyy10,

An overall contribution on the forum. It could ofcourse be entirely focussed in one section, or it could be scattered all across the board.

Thanks for the solution, R. Have moved out to FF, but this will come in handy just in case I decide to go back to Opera.

Can we remove sold items from Classified

I guess this can be done as soon as some one marked his item as sold, it must be removed from the list. What's the point in searching from sold list.

Sam003,

The SOLD items do dissappear, but after a set period of time.

A few reasons as to why they are not immediately removed:
1. An interested party who has been following the ad can note that its been sold.
2. It can serve as a good guide for pricing. (What sold @ what price)
3. It can serve as a good guide for availability. (ie. how often does a vRS go for sale in TN?)
etc

Your point that the sold items need not show up in searches is valid. We are working on some major changes to the classifieds section. Stay tuned!

In the process, also code for the link that when we click home, we are taken back to TBHP home, and not the Classifieds home page.
