i navigated to the same screen on a couple of computers and the buttons wouldn't show up if i used IE. however, with Firefox the buttons do show up. so i guess the problem might be on my side.
as i said, no problems regarding that. just wanted to verify if anybody else is having a similar issue.

Thanks a heap GTO, seems that I lack a bit in the common sense department. This will surly make my work easier in the future, when the need arises.

Godspeed.

A suggestion to Moderators - on Signature!

Hi Mods!
You all are doing great job in managing this wonderful site! Keep it up!

I have a suggestion!
Can all of us have a Signature against our ID mentioning our - Name, Place, Car brand & Model etc.

This will help us to know each other in a better way!

I think we can all do it in our signature anyway. Basically it is upto the user what he wants to be displayed against his id.

Why are the moderators silent on my above suggestion?

Is everyone comfortable to hide themselves behind some strange ID & speak to some unknown ID?

Simply because may be sbasak has already answered it!

What about the folks who don't have cars? What would they put in their signature?
And personally, I would rather put something catchy in my signature, rather than my car's 36/24/36 (READ: statistics). Also, a person's personal ID is their way of being differentiated, they want to be recognized as their ID!

Well, if you want everyone here can upload their resumes and their car's RC books so they wouldnt remain strangers to you anymore .

And finney...no offence meant bro!

Godspeed.

Alok.

Hey Finneyp,

A little patience never hurt anybody.

Suggestions like yours require changes in our forum software and hence take longer to figure out if they are do-able or not, and in some cases if they are worth it or not due to other tradeoffs when making the change.

To GTO and the rest for giving all petrolheads and diesel lovers( cost effective) this forum A huge THANKYOU from the heart..and i have a suggestion ,,maybe each city can have a chapter that keeps a fixed day of the Month,,say the third saturday night of the month at 10 pm,,maybe the Bandra end of the sea link for Mumbaiites,,so everyone who can make it AUtomatically lands up and brings like minded people,,

Also we could maybe all chip in to rent an place,,contributions purely voluntary and anonymous where we could furnish it with a TV where we could all watch F1 together

For moderators: introduction of more levels

The current Newbie, Bhpian and Senior bhpian seem to broad categorization.

Can we have some more with post count of 50 250 500 1000 2000 etc.?
