It looks like an intentionally silly movie, so bad that its good. "Kundali mein Shani, Ghee ke sath Honey aur Ravikumar se Dushmani" takes the cake for me

Cannot guarantee that. I felt the same when I watched the promos of Vicky Vidya ka woh wala video. Look how the movie turned out to be. The way the movie titles are being decided itself gives away whether its to watched or not.

Just stop the argument guys. No need to wait for Feb. Today's evening watch: The Xposé. The original Ravi Kumar.

This movie will be like the TV serial that Jaspal Bhatti directed. He chose tragedy as the genre but got the Best Comedy Series award instead.

I have never seen a Himesh movie. Just a glance at few clips of his previous movies was a great indication how bad of an actor he could be.

However, this movie looks like a good spoof movie. Keep your brain outside the theatre and have mindless fun kinds. If the reviews are even a little positive then will surely watch it.

Agni (Prime):

I usually don't find myself watching Hindi movies. But this was a nice surprise. Some tense moments, good acting and nice visuals.

Felt the police angle could have been avoided and movie could have been shortened by another 30mins if that.

All in all, a good strong watch.

Emergency Movie Review : 2.5 / 5 stars

Saw Kangana's latest movie, as I'm a big fan of the actress & political flicks. The movie is average at best, Kangana's voice & speech will make you laugh at times. I still sat through the movie as there is a lot of real-life political drama, but seriously, just wait for it to come on Netflix. This movie isn't worth the trek to the theatres. Incidentally, the show was houseful.

The lady has produced the movie herself and has gone through a lot of financial struggles to get it out. There were numerous delays due to the sensitive scenes. As fine an actress as she is, Kangana is not lead actress material anymore. Her last good movies were Tanu Weds Manu Returns & Queen...both more than a decade ago. Time for Kangana to debut in streaming shows.

On the other hand, a movie I truly enjoyed seeing in the cinema was Mufasa! What a story, and what effects . Easily 5 / 5 stars for me.

Re: The Regional movies thread!

At a certain point, about three quarters through the movie, I kind of felt deeply that he should die now/should have already been dead; but like all good men of honour, Arjun Sen refuses to give up!

A slow burner of a story narrated through background voices, a saga of hardships untold, a marathon of attrition, I Want to Talk is poignancy personified.

Available on Amazon Prime, the movie is inspired by true events. However, this Soojit Sarkar directorial could have escaped the trappings of an average outcome, if only there was bit more oomph added to it.

A worthy watch, nevertheless.

The Storyteller Disney Hotstar

Most of the people in Bengal, who are into reading books, are familiar with the name Tarini Khuro. The name is of a fictional character which is written by the great Satyajit Ray. There are several stories written by him involving the character and one amongst them has been chosen as the plot by director Ananth Mahadevan for this movie.

Paresh Rawal is the story teller who is hired by a businessman played by Adil Hussain to let him recover from insomnia. The story is simple and yet extraordinary in its treatment. Having read the story already, the movie felt very real. It’s a delightful watch and the best part is that the movie has been kept as simple as the story itself. Brilliant starcast including the elusive Revathy in a rare appearance, the movie is breath of fresh air. Highly recommended watch.

I want to talk: 5/5
Amazon prime.

True story of a fighter and a survivor. Abhishek Bachhan has lived up to the role.

Slow but heart touching.

Agni - Amazon Prime.

Pretty good watch, especially with family. This topic has almost never been shown on big screen, so was very interesting. While some of the scenes with the lead actor were too filmy, his acting makes up for it. Have been a fan of him since the Scam days and he does not disappoint.

Hisaab Barabar on Zee5.

The trailer had looked promising, but the movie actually falls flat. While the premise of the movie makes you ponder, the execution is shoddy and contributes to the overall disappointing outcome. Production is low-quality and hence the movie ends up looking like a farce.

R. Madhavan is the only saving grace as a crusader once again. Kirti Kulhari does a decent job, while Neil Nitin Mukesh is forgettable.

The Hindi Movies Thread-screenshot-20250205-7.58.308239am.png

This shouldn't be missed. Brilliant acting by Vikrant and well supported by others.

Rating - 4/5 (Zee5). Must watch

The Hindi Movies Thread-2.jpg

Totally agree with bhpian IamNikhil. Watched only because it starred Madhavan and the synopsis sounded exciting but it was bad. The BGM at times can really irritate you. And Neil Nitin, .

Rating - 2/5. Watch if you have nothing else to do on a lazy Sunday.
