The Hindi Movies Thread

Just back from the theatre.

The movie is GOOD. Not great, but where are GREAT movies made nowadays.

Bobby Deol : Acted his part to the tee. "n" times better than AK in Tees Maar Khan.

Dharmji : Dharam as Garam as ever. What a great comic timing.

Kulraj Randhawa: A fresh face, done really well on her Debut, a new Priety Zinta in the offering. She excels at many instances in the movie. unlike the intolerable Katrina Kaif.

Sunny Deol : EVERGREEN..................

It was so nice to see him on screen after a long hiatus. He's the ONLY and the MAIN character of the movie, steals every heart all the way through..

I would rate it 8/10

Watched Yamla Pagla Deewana. Story, screenplay, dialogouges everything reminded me of the movies that were churned out in the 80s.

Saw Dil To Bachha Hai Ji yesterday.

Light hearted movie with a very good performance by Ajay Devgan and also by Shruti Hassan though most of her part is only in the second half. Devgan seems to have developed a flair for comedy.

I thought the ending was a little too forced compared to the way the movie built up.

Saw Dil To Bachha Hai Ji over the weekend. Will give it a 2.5/5. A feel good movie.

Saw Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji and Yamla Pagla Deewana last weekend. I will give both movies 3/5 score, the climax of DTBHJ was fantastic. To be precise, both are "Paisa Vasool" movies(but for one time watch only).

Dil toh baccha hai ji

A love story of 3 men in different phases of their life. It's about ok - you feel you have seen it all before ....

Good acting by the 3 guys and Tisca Chopra - the 3 girls are a waste.

Verdict - 2/5. Nothing much. You can miss it.

Watched "Dil toh baccha hai ji"

A love story of 3 men in different phases of their life. It's just an average movie and story feels so disconnected to the audience that its surprising to feel since this movie is from MB. In my opinion, he failed in this genre and should stick to his hard hitting reality based movies.

Ajay Devgan-- was wasted in this role. He has nothing much to do except make stupid monkey faces and stutter out a few dialogues here and there

Om Vaidya---His is the meatiest role and he did a fairly good job. However, same accent of 3 idiots carry forwarded which i didnt like. If he continues that line, he will get sterotyped ( if he isnt already)

Emraan Hashmi--This role was cut out for him. He does a fairly effortless job as he has done this lots of time before. Lucky him!

Tisca Chopra : She is simply ravishing and has a grace to her that is unexplainable. I liked her the most

Shahshanz Padmsee : Cute, Bubbly and did a fantastic job

Shraddha Das : Did a decent job. Nothing great to write home about.

Overall, the movie is just about average and can be slotted in that rare category, you cant hate it/ neither can you love it

If you havent seen it. Then you havent missed much

Exactly, there is nothing wrong with the movie, its just that it keeps going on like a TV Soap & then somewhere near the end the Director realizes that he needs to end the movie & does whatever comes to his mind.

This is totally a non Madhur Bhandarkar movie.

Haha Another Tisca Chopra Fan, I have liked her in all of her movies, IMHO she is one of those under rated actors who actually deserve a lot.

Saw Yeh Saali Zindagi and really liked the movie. It's one best Hindi movies i've seen in months(maybe years).

Saw Dil to Baccha Hai ji.

What to say, the director was a baccha with the script. The story - totally waste, actors - still wasted. My money - fulltoo waste.

Watched Patiala House. regular predictable movie. But man Anuskha Sharma, she is just what to say no words yaar, I went for the movie for her and i am not dissappointed. She is the next big thing according to me. Rating for the movie 2.5/5

Saw it couple of weeks back on Tata Sky.
The funny thing was that the way his ransom keeps getting jacked up, is quite similar to the housing market crash!

+1 for that.
Its a decent movie and after long akshay suits in a role.
The real star of the movie is rishi kapoor imo.
