Despatch has strong acting by Manoj Bajpayee but it is a very poorly edited film. In a few scenes , nothing happens for several seconds, like the people are trying to make up their minds before acting, similar to babies staring at each other before deciding what to do. It does get to you - also some loose ends are left hanging. Still I watched it because I recall reading about the murder of J Dey of Mid-day back when it was news and the 2G scam. I wish they had masked the names a little less in the movie.

Contrary to views here in this thread, I found Despatch unnerving and a very engaging watch. A film that needed to be made in order to let us viewers know what the field journalists actually do to get the real news out. The movie has its flaws, at times it’s a drag almost but that is what Kanu Behl has been doing all these years. He makes silence speak and that’s to his credit that he maintains that in this movie as well. Manoj Bajpayee has given the gravitas to the character that he plays. He is the reason that the movie works for me. The last half an hour or so was the most disturbing part. The movie is a stark reminder of the times we live in where real journalism has gone for a toss because there are elements who do not want the truth out !!

Those who enjoy serious cinema should give it a watch. Not to be watched with kids since nudity is involved.

Agni Amazon Prine

Already lot has been said in this thread about the movie and it is indeed a very engaging watch. One of the better movies to come out this year with solid acting by the entire cast. The core storyline revolving around the firefighters is indeed commendable. The theme has never been attempted before and the graphics are top notch too. Very good star cast along with a decent enough story engages the viewer and takes them along. Recommended watch.

Excellent Movie, gripping storyline, simple but attention to details were not ignored. Someone born in 1970s and 80s and familiar with banking and stock market will better understand each and every scene.

Not a commercial masala movie, but you'll be glued to the movie till end even though it's predictable. We can recollect old accounting and banking tricks.

Yes- OMG, me and wife couldn't figure out what was going on for about 25 minutes, and gave up.

Singham Again

If I had to describe the movie in one word, it would be 'over-dramatic'. Connecting the story with the Ramayana was completely unnecessary, just like the inclusion of so many stars.

The first two installments of 'Singham' only had Ajay Devgan and were good. Then 'Simmba' had a guest appearance from Ajay, while 'Sooryavanshi' had guest appearances from both Ajay and Ranveer. As long as the actors were appearing in the movie as guests, things were fine. But in this installment, we get Deepika and Tiger joining Akshay and Ranveer not just as guest stars but more as co-actors.

The movie takes a lot of creative liberties, and I would recommend not using your brain while watching it.

Overall, the movie is made for the masses, and people will enjoy it. If you have free time, you can watch it for timepass.

Please watch this one; not for the patriotic fervour it champions, not for the filial bonds it worships, nor for the blockbuster elements it brings out. Just for the handpump scene that materializes out of nowhere when Tara Singh is being chased by a frenzied mob, the movie is a must see!

I now understand where the six hundred odd crores of collection came from. This is one production that proved to be a masterstroke for its producers, two decades after the first Prem Katha gave them a rich harvest. Looking at the sequence of events, the dhai kilo ka haath seems destined to have a comeback sometime in the very near future.

End Note: That I watched this movie on OTT is the icing on the cake for me, nothing could have been OverTheTop than this Anil Sharma directorial! I have had my full paisa vasool moment. It is time you do too!

How to destroy a good franchisee is seen in the movie. The first movie was a cult classic, second one was unbearable. This one goes beyond the torture limit. Kartik Aryan in the lead actor role was literally overacting in all scenes. It was good to see Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit in one frame but their acting punch was missing. Seasoned actors like Sanjay Mishra and Rajpal Yadav were reduced to buffoonery. Can be totally avoided.

I watched Bhool Bhulaiya 3 followed by Singham Again yesterday. All I can say is, that their first parts were worth watching while their latest versions are just pathetic. I will not rate more than 2/5 for both the movies.

The less I speak about Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video the better! This movie does not even deserve 1/5! I never expected a Raj Kumar Rao movie to be this disappointing!

Lucky Bhaskar was a good watch. I will rate it 4.5/5.

Another good watch was Agni. Though I was expecting a better mystery to unfold, this movie is made on an untapped plot. Rating it 4/5.

This movie has a lot of negative reviews but I absolutely loved it.

Manoj B, has done a very good job and the supporting cast was also quite good.

The story is gripping and I think the editing though jerky is consistent enough to make me feel its deliberate.

Oh my God another Cringe fest! I could not help but wonder which was more Cringey; Singham again or Bhool Bhulaiyya 3.

Sad to see performers like Vidya Balan and Madhuri wasting their time on rubbish like this!

What a ludicrous waste of time! The movie is a Hindi remake of Vijay's Theri which released back in 2016. Maybe such plots worked back then, but come on, is the industry expecting the audience to react positively to such trash being dished-out in 2024?

P.s. The child artist is the only saving grace of this movie. Wonderful to see kids doing great these days.
