Now I must’ve watched this one 50+ times over the years. Even know almost every line in it. This truly is a masterpiece. For anyone who hasn’t watched it yet and loves the whole thriller- suspense- detective genre, this is a must watch. The acting, the dialogues, the way it is shot is something that can be rewatched multiple times. It may be disturbing but it is one intelligent movie. The last 20 minutes is probably one of the best endings ever! Something that will definitely stay with you even days later!
Just saw the trailer and realized I have seen this. Watching so many movies, I dont remember the names of all of them. Does anyone feel the same ?

All the time! But does that say something about us? Or the movie? Are we getting old or was the movie just not that memorable?

Nothing like Se7en for sure but I would recommend the following:
  • Mystic River (by Clint Eastwood)
  • The Game (A truly underrated movie starring Michael Douglas)
  • Nocturnal Animals (starring Jake Gyllenhaal)
  • Prisoners (also with Jake Gyllenhaal & Hugh Jackman. This was a really good movie with an ending that not everyone will appreciate)
  • The Prestige (by Christopher Nolan)

Most of these are so popular, I'm sure you would've watched them already. If you haven't then would love to read your thoughts. Would also appreciate any suggestions you have as well.

1. The Game
2. Fight Club
3. Panic Room
4. Zodiac
5. Gone girl
6. The girl with Dragon tattoo ( original Swedish version is better)
7.The Killer

Not a fan of time travel movies, but I do agree with these two. Both good in their own way.

I watched Caddo Lake today. Not as good as the 2 you mentioned but you should give it a try since you're a fan. It's available on Jio and I'd rate it a 2/5 only because I saw the ending coming about 30 minutes into the movie. Though it was a surprise for a lot of people who have reviewed it.

This was one of the best movies I have seen this year. It is a movie not only for children but also for adults. The character development is really good and the visuals are a treat as well. People who are parents will love it.
Would this movie be suitable for a 6 year old. I mean will he able to follow the story ? Don't want to be pestered with unending questions during the movie :-)

Oh yes, but the beginning may feel a bit slow.

Family Pack - 1.5/5

In a Jumanji like twist, a card game comes to life and transports the family playing it to a medieval village where they must take on werewolves for survival.

I do feel that way for many movies. Most recent example being what Netflix flings at us every month at maddening pace I forget movies watched just in the last month .

But not for Se7en. That movie is very memorable. Some movies leave a permanent stamp on you in one watch, this is one of them.

Furiosa: A Mad Max saga

Streaming: Jio Cinema

This movie has to be the worst in the franchisee. No plot, nothing great about acting, neither any good action scenes. Chris Hemsworth with a weird nose job was the worst in acting part. At one point I was fast forwarding the movie. Charlize Theron Mad max movie was way better than this one.

Rating: 1/5

1/5 might be because of the experience of watching it on Jio Cinema. Somehow the 4K content is very underwhelming on Jio. It reminds me of the time when DVDs were the craze to hit the street, only to find the video quality just about the same if not worse than a VCD.

Venom - The Last Dance

A fitting finale to the 3-part Tom Hardy's Venom.

While the 1st half was a snooze-fest, the 2nd was fast paced and makes up for it.
Excellent performance by Tom Hardy and there is a specific scene, where one wonders why is he not the 007 already.

If you like time travel movies you shouldn't be missing these movies.

Predestination - Amazing movie, will leave you thinking and rethinking.

Mirage - A movie you shouldn't miss in the time travel genre.

Both the movies mentioned above are available in OTT.
Please do! Big fan of Time Travel/Scifi myself!

Btw, in case you haven’t read it, this is the original Robert Heinlein short story that was made into ‘Predestination’ - All You Zombies. The movie is simpler by comparison

And ‘Mirage’ was remade in Hindi as ‘Doobaara’ with Taapsee Punno.
