How about this one:

:D

At the breakfast table..eh? What i loved the most of this conversation was Steve Buscemi's anti-tipping policy, was that hilarious:uncontrol.

Infact, i love the casual no relation to story conversations of QT movies, they are the main attraction for me.

Finally, this movie had that great track by Stealer Wheelers " Stuck in the middle with you" Superb song:thumbs up

Caught Duplicity yesterday - nothing great, pretty ok. Julia is now beginning to age - not a pretty sight. The movie was slow , very slow infact in the middle.

I would rate this 2/5.

Why does Tarantino like the red colour? Not that I'm complaining. But was just wondering if there is anything associated with it.

To me, it was not the best Tarantino movie. Maybe I had high expectations, but somehow a bit disappointed. It's about a few thugs strangers to each other about to pull off a string. Things go messy and the red stuff spills all over.

Rating: 2.5/5

agree: Mr. QT does like a lot of "Red" stuff all over the place. The best according to me from him would be "Kill Bill 1 (2003) and Kill Bill 2 (2004), esp the last gang fight at the very end of the movie and the place turns into a "Red" pool..lol:

Surprised to see that there was no mention about "One flew over cuckoo's nest", i watched it again last evening and i liked it as much as i did the first time.

Jack Nicholson is at his best and it's a must watch.

I have few lined for this and the next weekend

To kill a Mocking Bird
Raging Bull
Requiem of dream
Reservoir Dogs

The Hurt Locker

The English Movies Thread (No Spoilers Please)-hurt_locker_poster_m.jpg

It is a gripping tale of a bomb disposal squad in action in Iraq. Jeremy Renner (I faintly remember having seen him in The Assassination of Jesse James ... in a supporting role) essays the role of the team leader of the squad who has to face death at every outing on duty. Death is lurking around at every single moment of the movie but the face of the enemy is not there. You almost feel you are a part of the proceedings as you watch the movie. Excellent cinematography, script, direction and acting make this movie worth a watch. Not for the faint of heart though.

Nice documentary style movie on the sports and fitness industry and its evil cousin the performance enhancing drugs industry!

The Hurt Locker
Am really looking forward to it.

Watched Prestige yesterday. Excellent thriller. Storyline is simply awesome.Never seen such a movie in recent past.
my rating 10/10:thumbs up

State of Play - 4/5

The plot is superb - the narration is fast paced and the background score is quite good. The tempo of the music adds to the whole experience. I enjoyed it thoroughly, definitely a must watch.

Saw these over the weekend:

1. GI Joe: Rise of Cobra-- Did not enjoy it. It does have a very fast pace, some cool gadgets and some decent action sequences (the chase in Paris stands out). Overall, the story sucks, there is no time spent on developing the characters, and the chemistry between the leads is missing. A decent one time watch, but you won't miss much even if you decide not to see it. Sienna Miller stands out though, just loved her to bits (when she was the evil Baronness:D)

2. Annie Hall: I love Woody Allen, so this might be biased. This is one of his best movies to date starring himself and Diane Keaton. Hilarious, typical Allen style. Absolutely loved it.

3. Play it again, Sam: Another Allen starrer, although this one is directed by Herbert Ross. This one, though not as good as Annie Hall, holds it own. It has moments where you will be rolling on the floor laughing, as also some tedious attempts at humor and even some parts which drag a tad. Catch both the Allen movies, worth the time and effort.

I would rate Jack Nicholson's As good as it gets slightly higher than Cuckoo's nest. Absolutely mindblowing performances from all the actors in the movie. Cuckoo's nest and A few good men were my favs until I saw AGAIG.

To Kill a Mocking Bird is a daring yet beautiful movie narrated through the eyes of a young girl.

It's amazing how actors like De Niro, Pacino and Tom Hanks adapt themselves to the characters of the movie. Raging Bull is one such movie where De Niro flawlessly executes his acting skills through the boxing legend.

Have to say you have an amazing line up there. Will be looking forward to your comments.
