Anybody getting Top Gun: Maverick in UHD?

I get only 1080p with my Amazon Prime membership.

I get UHD for other Amazon Prime contents.

Shows UHD for me.

I also see UHD at this screen but it is not played in UHD.

Please see the pic, it should be UHD while playing the movie.

Ya, I wasted 10 minutes to watch credits for that 20 second scene :D

The Continental is going to be a TV series, there are several articles discussing this.

JW 4 was kept open ended. Depending on the studio - JW 5 can be greenlit and the story will progress further. Although at this stage, who is left to be killed by John Wick, unless its Thanos or Kang lol:

There are rumours but nothing concrete about the TV series. Also as per director and Keanu, JW 4 will be the end of the franchise. Also the way they ended it which i can't explain due to spoilers I believe it's the perfect ending.

Forgot to mention it was so good to see Lance Riddick one last time. What a big loss to acting community. RIP.

BTW the actor for Kang is done. Arrested for domestic violence so Marvel is going to face a big issue with his role as Kang for upcoming projects.

Yes, this news was very surprising. Once the rumour mill on Twitter started, several people voiced out what a mean piece of work this actor is.

Another Hollywood star bites the dust. He is done for.

I too felt the ending of JW 4 is perfect, especially after the interview with the director in a media article, where he states there is no alternative for JW.

However JW5 also depends on what Lionsgate studio execs feel. If they think they can push for JW5 with Keanu, they will make it happen.

I hope for the next movie, Keanu rides an Arch motorcycle. JW4 had a really cool trick with him crashing the Aprilia Tuono in the fight scenes.

What a ride! Movie felt like a live action video game especially a scene where the action is shot from above as John goes through his motions.

I saw the trailer and felt KR was getting old for the role, the body language, the dialogue delivery felt as if he was slow and was doing the movie just for money sakes and not for the franchisee. I may be wrong here, planning to see the movie this weekend.

Honestly, i for one did not feel that way watching that movie. And even if he did look tired or old maybe it was sign of the character just wanting things to end?

Enjoy the movie :)

Boston Strangler: 3/5

I compare it to other journalism thrillers (The Post, Spotlight) or serial killer films (Mindhunters, Zodiac).

A true crime thriller, Boston Strangler feels like the bland version of 'Zodiac'. Cast was good but really lacked drama and tension.

I won't term a Guy who is killing 20 guys in a blink as Old or Slow :D

Do watch the movie. You will change your perception. Original will always remain my favorite but this one has the best action sequences we have seen in a movie.

Are action sequences better than The Raid 2?

Yet to see JW4. The first 3 are all absolute favourite. This is one rare series where every new installment feels better or at least as good as previous one.

Scream 6

I am surprised no one has posted anything about this movie!
I watched it last Friday with some of my friends. This movie was so bad that it was funny. It tried to redeem itself towards the end but it was not enough. I think the movie suffered from identity crisis. It tried to be a Scary Movie as well as a somewhat serious slasher flick and ended up being bad at both.
Watch it only to see what an epic fail this movie is!

The Ritual Killer: 3.5/5

Basic plot but an interesting movie that kept my interest. Morgan Freeman is always fascinating. Recommend watching for an entertaining night. It won't blow you away but good movie nonetheless.

Saw John Wick 4 with friends, and boy oh boy, it did not disappoint and lived upto its expectations. I saw it on Imax with a group of 4 of us, of which 2 had never seen any of the earlier movies in this franchise. They too came away impressed and one is already hooked watching the earlier installments now.

Would rate it an easy 4.5/5 with a reduction possibly only because some scenes felt possibly a bit too far fetched - like comic book super hero territory but this would be nit-picking.

Overall the movie delivers its mandate in spades, the story, dialogues, cinematography, the soundtrack and music in parts is an absolute joy to experience in a theatre!:Cheering:

I would'nt agree, like so many here. Infact would go so far to say that his age in subsequent movies adds to his persona and character!

Fall on Amazon Prime.

Will keep you at the edge of your seat for the entire length. Packed with adventure, suspense and tight screenplay, this is one movie which will linger in your head for some time. The story is based on two mountaineer friends who decide to climb a 2000 ft high abandoned radio tower to overcome the loss of one’s husband who died by a fall mountaineering. Once they scale the tower, the ladders give up and both get stuck at the top. Rest of the movie revolves around how they struggle to get down. Must watch. Rating it 4/5.

Luther (Netflix)

Idris Elba as usual was good in this movie and so was Andrew Serkis.

Movie as such was pretty much depressing and not worth the watch in my opinion.

If there was an award for worst depiction of police this movie would win it! :D

2.5/5

Violent Night (Prime Rental)

Now this was a breath of violent fresh air. David Harbour as Santa really aces this role! Movie is like John Wick on Christmas!

3.5/5

I quite like Idris Elba- his turn as Stringer Bell in The Wire is one of my favourite characters of all time. But in Luther he looks totally wasted. He's far too emotional and impulsive a character for me and the entire story (of the series) borders on the ludicrous. But I was still willing to give the movie a shot. Thanks for the warning, shall save two hours of my time now :D
