Is the Wolverine must see in 3D only of even 2D will be fine? I mean if there are a lot of 3D scenes then it makes sense to see it in 3D

Also as a comparison, is it better than the last installment?

@mobike008

2D is fine.

Watch it in 2d. I saw it in 3d and it was a waste.
Also i didn't like it much. As comparison previous one was much better.

I agree. 2D will be just fine. The 3D hardly makes an impact. The 3D could definitely have been better.
What about the Lone Ranger ? How's that one ?

Compared to origins, visually much better.Though that had a better storyline. This is truer to the wolverine's nature as per the comic books.
Compared to first class, that was better.

3D is non essential.

Pacific Rim!!

Old plot but done exceptionally well , loved the graphics , loved the fact that there was absolutely no love story angle in the movie - it was all business and busting monsters!!

Simplest review I came across somewhere.

Transformers + Godzilla = Pacific rim. :D

TOI has given a thumping review of the "The Conjuring" which is a horror thriller and say its not your regular horror movie but, is truly outstanding.

Being a fan of this genre, iam keen to watch it soon. Anyone else planning to see it?

^^Yup, am going for it tonight provided I get tickets at the venue.

Do post a review after seeing it.

The Conjuring has been critically acclaimed. It has been hailed as one of the most scariest movies of all time. My colleagues who have seen premieres of it vouch for the terrifying scenes in the movie. The last time i saw a horror movie in the theatre was 'the Woman in Black' last year. That too was pretty scary. Hopefully, the conjuring will trump it.

Review Please?

The Conjuring 3.5/5

A proper horror movie without blood and gore. Just you're regular horror cliches, but extremely well crafted. So you have your creepy dolls, doors shutting without explanation, strange knocking and the like.

The first act is pretty much regular horror fare, but as the movie progresses the scenes become increasingly terrifying. On many occasions was genuinely frightened.

In a way a subtle homage to The Exorcist. Ably acted by both leads especially Vera Farmiga and extremely well directed by James Wan.

Be prepared for some real spooks.

Watched the " The Conjuring"

This movie was touted as a real scary movie but, unfortunately the hard fact remains it isn't. Most part of the movie is used to build up the story and momentum and finally almost at the end it spirals up really fast in terms of real scares which are inabundance during the last 20 mins that are indeed frightnening.

However, first part was no better than the popular BBC show " Haunting" which is also based on true stories.

The treatment meted out to this movie is mentionable and should be appreciated, no cheap back stabbing tricks to scare you but, some genuine scares ( I didnt get scared though but, my wife shielding her eyes behind her hands and was digging her nails into my arms :D was enough evidence that this movie was quite scary) happened smoothly

It's definetly worth a watch but, isnt as spectacular as I thought it would be. But, keeping in mind that this happened in real to a family gives me the goosebumps

3.5/5

Thanks for the review. Me too, a die hard fan of this genre. But unfortunately, have no one to give me company. Showed the trailer to my wife and she was like :Shockked:. Have to wait for the DVD release. One question that I have - is it better than "Woman in Black"? I found that movie to be really good.
