Any world war movie buffs in here? Catch the Letters from Iwo Jima on DVD. The film is entirely in the Japanese language by an all Japanese star cast, still my Dad & I loved it. It's incredibly intense and will play with your emotions. The film portrays what soldiers go through at the ground level. Rating : 4.5 / 5 |

I think you guys are missing the point of the movie. This is supposed to be a spoof of all the cliches used in shoot em up movies, hence the name. The movie isn't supposed to be taken seriously at all. I thought that was obvious from the movie itself, that is why everything is over the top. Just stop taking it seriously and you will enjoy it a lot. It's a very funny movie and the one liners are awesome. |

Clint Eastwood is the greatest! As a director, the way he is able to manipulate moviegoers emotions is amazing. |

Any of you guys into animated movies? Contrary to popular belief - a section of animated movies are made keeping in mind the adult viewers. I watched a few of them this year and must say they are excellent. They are: Dante's Inferno Afro Samurai: Resurrection Batman: under the red hood I shall post more as I have a large collection of them (courtesy one of my friends). |

I too am a great fan of WW movies. I am not sure if there is a movie, but I read a book long back from the German perspective---'The Eagle has Landed'. It was a real good book. I hope they made a movie out of it. |

Its 'V for Vendetta' buddy !:D Remember remember the fifth of November The gunpowder treason and plot I know of no reason, why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot! Really need an idea like V on todays India. Try and get hold of the graphic Novel if you can - its unputdownable and 100 times better than the film. |

Watched this movie and as you mentioned, it was fantastic. Violence in the most subtle way. Kathy Bates seemed like a very recognizable face. Anyone knows which other movies she starred apart from this one? |
