I recently saw an ad that HP has released a laptop with GE Force Graphics card and lot of other features, also try to get an HDMI output port so that it can be connected to LCD TV for more fun.

If did not work well for me. Looks like my memory is in bad shape because of overheating. I tried to play at high resolution.
@ Cyrus43: At what resolution did you start and played the game ?
It is not playable at 1440 X 900, right ?

@sujayalahari ( sorry for wrong spelling ):
Can you give a more detailed review about the game ?

This configuration mentioned for HP is the same as Dell XPS base model!

MY honest review: This sucks. The car controls are pathetic. The physics are pathetic. Realism is non existent. A Lotus Elise can keep up with a Gallardo, 911 turbo, etc.

Graphics are nothing special. Most wanted looked better. The only good thing is the sensation of speed.

If any of you have played Race driver Grid, dont waste time with this idiotic game. Please reinstall Grid and play it again.

The story of this game sucks. The so called cut scenes are pathetic.

Stay away. I'm so glad I didnt buy this game.

I second everything said above.
The game is just a mixture of Most Wanted and Underground 2(so-called "Heroic driving engine), with some elements borrowed from Test Drive unlimited. A *******ized version of the already awful pro-street physics. Incorrent vehicle specs(i did 320+ km/hr in a stock Nissan GTR).
NOTHING in the game is new. Highway battle mode is just a drag race with a rolling start where you can steer freely as opposed to just changing lanes.

Bottomline : Racedriver: GRID, stick to it, it might not be anywhere as easy, but atleast you wont be lapping opponents on a 3 lap circuit.

I Beg to differ!! I love the game!! Though i hope EA puts more thoughts into the whole customisation part..I loved Underground 2 just for that! And i still maintain that U2 and Most Wanted were the best NFS games ever.....Until Undercover came along...

so i bought the NFS Undercover. i did a couple of races. i would say its better than the pro street but not as good as underground series. the cars are understeering a lot at least i feel that way. may be thats only limited to me.

i would give it 7/10. on the other hand Midnight club los angeles i would give it 9/10. i would like to see more cars and bigger city. every thing is good. there are so many ways you can modify a car.

Havent you missed out on NFS Porsche? NFS High Stakes?

These were the best EVER!!

They were so goddamned realistic! Even though I like MW, it's a silly game. You in your unmodded Punto can beat SLRs, Supras, etc... Stupid.

While i agree that it's not exactly a bad game from NFS standards/genre, There is nothing in this one that justifies it being sold as a whole new game.

I think what the series needs is a longer development cycle. If you look at the fact that they come out with a new release every year, i'd say even pro-street and carbon were impressive.

However, in the face of it's competition, there are very few reasons to choose this over many excellent alternatives.
To each his own though, if you enjoy it, more power to you
