Bade Miyan Kebab is bang opposite to Kalanethan Wedding Mall on Somajiguda Crossroads.

From Bade Miyan when you take left and go towards Raj Bhavan Road. Its just 50 meters ahead on your left.

About the other clarification, i am not the right person for that.

Bade Miyan very much serves Halal and is owned by a Mohammedan, not sure about the other one.

went to the new shahji ka dhaba at himayathnagar today for lunch with family. (a bit difficult to locate.)

1 reshmi kavab (is it supposed to be wrapped in ommlette?)
1 veg spring roll (decent)
1 ginger mutton (mutton was juicy, but covered with corn flour?)
1 veg fried rice (good)
1 tandoori roti (i've had better)
1 plain naan
1 rumali roti

Bill including tip: Rs.500/-

ambience: 8/10
service: 8/10
food: 7/10

disturbance by small girl (owner's): free!

Nice new place, but they can definitely improve food taste.

Yes, a lot of places serve Reshmi Kebab wrapped in omlette.

I tried Shah ji Ka Dhaba a few times and once during lot of tbhpians came over for a get together at my home too. Their food is very inconsistent.

I would go there again only out of boredom

will never venture to this place again

after lots of good reviews about Maya Bazar reached there with lots of expectation with my family by 9.40pm yesterday . We had to wait for 15mins before someone could get the menu and after waiting for another 20 mins , my wife had to walk up to the sardarji and instruct him to take the order .

We ordered for

Keema Balls - not available
Tandoor chicken - not available
Kebab - not available
Egg / chicken / mutton briyani - not avaiable , only plain rice & roti was available .the lame reason being sunday and they are sold-out.

Just walked out of the place and proceeded to Paradise .

Tried the newly opened 78 degrees east restaurant in Habsiguda.

The lunch buffet is simply VFM! For 214 bucks, I loved the spread. The chicken biryani was very well done.

Went for dinner a few days ago. Loved the zafraani malai kebab, and the biryani again was one of the best i have had.
5 of us and the bill came to 2200/-
Not sure of the break-up though, it was a birthday treat.

planning on another visit with family soon. will give a detailed review.

Ambience - 8/10 (view was naaaicce)

Shahji ka Dabha, Himayathnagar

After a failed meet(one which I confirmed after eons!!) plan for the dinner..... I wanted to go out for a dinner and wifey prompted Shahji ka Dabha, which is just a small walk from the home(avi did a fly-by on his pulsar when we were walking!!).

Before going, went through the reviews here and Tandoori chicken caught my eye in at-least couple of posts and the dabha's menu listed it as a special item.

Ordered the following:
1. Hot and sour chicken soup (its indeed hot, both of us enjoyed it!!) (1/2) - 65/-
2. Since the soup was spicy, I ordered lassi(1).(it was very light both in flavor and in content) - 20/-
3. Tandoori Chicken. Since we are only two people, just ordered the small(2 pieces) portion(1). (it almost filled our stomach!!! and very tasty and properly cooked) - 80/-
4. Keema Paratta.(We absolutely loved it) - 45/-
5. Along with the keema paratta, we ordered mix-raitha - 40/-
6. Curd Rice. A special note of appreciation from wifey for the curd rice!! - 45/-
7. Bottled water. 20/-

Bill Amount - 315/-
tip - 30/-

total - 345/-

To finish it off, we went to pick n' mov for ice-creams. Ordered Honey Moon Delight and Anjeer-Badam. 48/- each and a total 100/- (I guess 4/- for taxes). The Honey Moon Delight was pretty ordinary while the Anjeer-Badam was OK types thanks to the generous usage of Anjeer. Seriously, I would say we should have gone for a small ride to Sree Radhe for the same. The Honey Moon Delight was really good at Sree Radhe!!

I had been to Kritunga Restaurant @ Panjagutta for lunch (SILVERWOOD+3) and ordered the following.

Rayalseema Chicken-Rs110-Small portion,but very well cooked.Super spicy
Rayalseema Mutton-Rs115-Liked this, mutton was very tender, almost boneless pieces
Chicken Biriyani (2No's)-Rs230-Again a small portion, but good taste.
Jawar Roti-6-Rs 66-Disappointed as it was not thin.
Soft drinks -3

Total damages-Rs 600 including tips.

The portions are very small and slightly expensive for restaurant of this type.

Seems to be a very good option! 399++ is definitely tempting. Have added it to the list of must visits and attempt it once I am in Hyderabad! Thanks for the pointer!

You could also read a review of The Grand Wok by Mobike008 on burrp.com.

Novotel Shamshabad has introduced a new buffet priced @ Rs. 1,199/- ++ (Rs. 1,403/-). The pamphlet reads : Wind your way through Europe and the Mediterranean, cross over to North Africa, drop anchors at the Americas and the Carribean, and make a brief halt in Asia. There's unlimited beverages to keep you going, a live band that'll tour with you, and a vibrant street ambience at every corner. Saturdays, 6:30pm onwards. Call 6625 0000.
I think the crabs, squids, oysters and barbeque is good enough for me to make a visit there and check them out.

Novotel Shamshabad also has a sunday brunch from 12pm to 5pm which is priced at Rs. 1,111 all inclusive and apart from the vast array of food, the package includes unlimited beverages and use of swimming pool. Nice way to laze the sundays.

What are the reviews and feedbacks about The Park, RajBhavan Road, next to Necklace Road Railway Station. I am invited for an Indian dinner on sunday. What should I expect? What should I order? Any pointers? Thanks in advance.
