hillram - just messaged you on facebook regarding the latest offer from Ofen about a fixed menu with a fixed price and also terrace as the venue. Have a look at the messsage. My take on terrace is that it would be lovely only if it does not rain!

Been to Anjappar in Panjagutta a couple of times. Once with family, it was a horrible experience.

Next time with Rajesh Rawal for lunch, it was an awesome experience.

Hence, i am confused. Btw, i beileve that place is either closed or getting renovated.

Saar, This is thread for Hyd / Secunderabad only. The jurisdiction of this thread ceases at 50 Km radius from centre of town.

My sincere advice would be to look for an Ethnic Cafe in Hyderabad itself. There are many of them and if you are not able to find one, I'm sure our inhouse food guru's will be more than happy to show you one

P.S: You may find some info here cAFE eTHNIC zAHEERABAD - Google Search

I had my lunch at BBQ Nation today.

I have absolutely no idea why there serve Rice and Rotis and veg gravies there.
I had 3 Gulauti Naan's that are served at the table.

Then I had both types of Chicken Kababs and the fantastic Mutton kababs. I also took one small baby potato just for the heck of it.

Then I had some crabs, fish fry and to help it all down, some hot soup.

Desert was a small piece of Mango Cheese Cake and some chocolate banana pie.

Why can't they figure out a way to make some nice Chicken Jamuns or Fish icecream or Mutton-ras-bhara golo kind of deserts.

Its so sad that one needs to become vegan to enjoy desert.

Imran, Are you serious about NV Desserts? My insides are already churning just by that thought

Btw, appreciate you mentioning the price of buffet as it helps all. Was it Rs.275 nett/head?

I notice most folks dont mention pricing as it's an important piece of info on this thread.

I make it a point to mention pricing of each dish, if not each dish, even if the total price ( for number of people) would also be of some help.
