Re: The "Jobs available in my organisation" thread

Guys... need a couple of Oracle DBAs to work for one of the worlds biggest financial multinationals.

Two simple requirements here.
1. Technically needs to be very good (only DBAs, no Oracle programmers please)
2. Should be able to join in a maximum of 30 days

PM me if anyone is interested.

P.S.: The first preference is for people willing to work in Hyderabad. However we are also open to the locations in Chennai, Mumbai and Gurgaon in that order.

Re: The "Jobs available in my organisation" thread

How difficult it is to shift from Sales to Marketing profile?

I have about 3 years experience in sales, and actively looking for a change in profile from sales to marketing. But the catch is, every job offer i come across, requires a prior experience in Marketing. That way, it will be impossible for someone with sales background to make the shift (unless, of-course, there is an opening within the same organization).

What would you guys suggest?

Hi, What industry are you working in ? Its NOT very easy to move from sales to marketing. The natural progress for you should be to take an inter departmental transfer to marketing in your current organization. For a new company you would be an unknown material and they would not want to take a chance.

Having said that, there are some cos who like to take sales guys with good pedigree of institute and analytical skills who can be moulded into a strong marketing professional. But they are very limited.

Re: The "Jobs available in my organisation" thread

Dear Friends,

My wife is currently in her last semester of her Masters in Psychiatric Nursing (M.Sc psychiatric Nursing). There is a project(a study and an activity) which needs to be done as part of her curriculum involving improvement of life. It's A STUDY OF STRESS IN WOMEN WORKING IN IT INDUSTRY AND EFFECT OF MOVEMENT THERAPY IN REDUCING STRESS.
Please let me know if your organisation allows such studies to be conducted. It is very beneficial to the female employees as it measures their stress levels and the project activities greatly reduces their stress and it's harmful effects. There is a detailed write-up and description available for sharing too.
Kindly PM me or mail me to bulletebyattherateyahoodotin.Location is preferably Bangalore.Else Chennai
Request your help BHPians!
Thanks a lot in advance.

Re: The "Jobs available in my organisation" thread

Guys,

I have over 5 years of extensive experience in Mainframes Application Development, looking for a job change ASAP.

I am okay for the following locations - Delhi/NCR(Gurgaon, Noida, Greater Noida, Delhi), Hyderabad and Bangalore.

If there is anyone who could help, please let me know. Appreciate your help !!

Edit : I know the job market is not at all good for mainframe developers right now, if anyone can suggest any additional tools/other technology which can provide a boost to my resume, I would be more than happy to learn.

Re: The "Jobs available in my organisation" thread

Searched for "IT Organizations" to find something relevant. Didn't get a nice place to post this. Hence posting here.

This is a Must-Watch Video for all IT Employees !!
I was actually in office when saw this video and its catchy lyrics.

Edit: Ohhh, one more IMPORTANT THING - Towards the end of the video, it has reference to Team-BHP too !!! Yaaaay !!!
