Job Description:

Role: MMI/Application developer (Embedded) for mobile platform.

Skill Set:

• Experience in MMI/User Interface design and development.
• Hands-on prior experience in developing/integrating multimedia frameworks, telephony L4 stack, 3rd party software(browser, email client etc) will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of C & RTOS Concepts together with general embedded software development concepts will be a pre-requisite.
• hands-on experience in using emulators, debuggers for ARM based platforms is a plus.
• Usage of CM and other tools (Clear case experience preferred)

Education & Experience: B.Tech/M.Tech (Computer Science or ECE). Reputed institutes preferred. 3-8 yrs total work experience.

Job Description :

Title: Pro-A(r)ttacker! -

Role Definition: Concept Design and Visual Development

The role requires the person to convey effectively a visual representation of an idea, design and.or mood. for use in 3rd generation 3D game production. He/she would have to generate a visual design for an item, area, and/or character that does not exist yet beyond conception of the game designing team. While it is necessary to have the skills of a fine artist, the person must also be able to work on strict deadlines and with objectives set out based on the target audience for the product in the capacity of a graphic designer.

Good communication skills and deep understanding of the art in media world are a must. Ability to piece together scenes and story board are complimentary skills for the role and personnel with such skills shall be preferred.

Software Proficiency: Photoshop, Corel, Adobe Illustrator, Maya, 3DSmax
Skills: Matte painting, 3D modelling and illustrative story boarding
Remuneration: Negotiable
Location: Hiranandani, Powai (Mumbai)

Others: Experience in graphic novel design and comic book illustration are appreciated. Godfather fans would be given goody points just for fun sake

One of my friend is desperately looking for oppurtunity in the mechanical field, his company recently shut down because of no work. He has a MS degree in Mechanical engineering , and BE in Automobile from venkateshwara COE , His profile includes following skills;

OT: (RANT) : I dont understand why do people who have done MS in other countries dont get any appreciation back when they return. Is it that we get degrees outside India isnt going to benefit them and when we return no one even recognizes us? why do they make us feel alien in our own country? I have been through this process and have literally been insulted in one of the interviews where some tech lead trying to ask questions as if I was Bill Gates and have made that product.

And if you want to throw our resume's in bin then don't even blame "Brain Drain" ever.

Well the same is true in other countries also right ?
You go to US or AU and many Indian degrees will not be recognized there.
Once again you need to do some certification there.
