Re: The "Jobs available in my organisation" thread

Tableau, data engineering, full stack and golang. No specific domain. If telecom it's a bonus. But doesn't really matter.

Anyone have reference matching above requirement, please let know. opening in Bangalore.

Hi @Ninjatalli,
Hope the person may have found success with suitable job opportunity by now.
Most large/medium sized firms nowadays outsource the office/admin jobs to contract staffing agencies. Hence potential employment may have to be sought with such third-party service providers. For the entry level jobs, school education is usually sufficient.
Thanks.

Re: The "Jobs available in my organisation" thread

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, so would request the mods to move it where this belongs, if needed.

My maternal uncle is the Managing Trustee at Swapnodaya Charitable Trust (www.swapnodaya.com). Swapnodaya is dedicated to upskilling financially challenged and underprivileged Computer Science Engineering students from semi urban and rural colleges and helping them find jobs. Swapnodaya identifies such students through a process of elaborate screening, and then works with them extensively through the final year of their engineering studies to upskill them in Technology, English and Aptitude, and make them job-ready. Once the students complete this upskilling program successfully, Swapnodaya connects them with good companies for their placements.

These students hail from very poor families. They are children of either small farmers, or of self employed people with low income (auto drivers, plumbers, electricians, tea stall owners) or people doing menial jobs like security staff, service staff in small restaurants, hotels etc. Yet all of them are academically meritorious (minimum CGPA 7.5). More than 50% of these students are girls.

The annual family income of these students range from a mere Rs.50,000/- to Rs.300,000/- per annum. Typically (in most cases) their fathers would be small farmers or daily wage workers, while their mothers would be housewives. Most of these families would have availed of large loans, including education loans. Needless to say, a good job at the end of their Engineering would not just empower these students, but uplift their entire family.

Swapnodaya's 15 month long upskilling program covers Technology (SQL, Python, DSA, Front end tools), Aptitude and Spoken English. The program is intense and has proved very effective. Till now their upskilled students have been placed with companies like Deloitte, Siemens, Pacewisdom, Thought Process, Canopus etc. All of these placed students have met or exceeded expectations of their employers so far. Testimonials from some of these companies are attached.

Their latest (2023-24) batch of 110 students is their biggest batch yet. These students have just completed their upskilling program and would be completing their Computer Science Engineering degree in the current or next month (May-June 2024). Out of these, 64 students are yet to find placements. Please check this link for the resume of each of these 64 students, which includes the links to their Github repository of project work, their Hackerrank work, as well as the certificates of all the Coursera courses they have completed.

I am looking for your assistance in getting these students placed into various IT organizations. Please feel free to reach out if you can help, so that I can get you connected to the relevant people at Swapnodaya who work on placements.

Thanks for taking time to read through this!

This maybe off topic, however can members suggest a job portal for overseas job opportunities? I tried Naukri.com, but the responses are not aligned. I am from the Oil & Gas EPC field.
