Re: The "Jobs available in my organisation" thread

Guys I'm in a dilemma. I have never been in such situations ever in my 13 years of experience.

I work as a Sr.BA / SME / Manager in the Reinsurance domain. I work for a Software Product company in Bangalore selling Insurance and Reinsurance applications.

In the 6 months I've spent here I've seen too much politics and back stabbing. I have been a victim of such politics and therefore I had to return back from a long term assignment. I'm totally demotivated and have zero interest in continuing however I'm not sure how do I put this as a reason to my next employers in interest of full disclosure. Any suggestions ?

There is always a risk and maybe the next employer might not completely understand what you went through. So my suggestion would to not use this at all while talking to your next employer.

My 2 cents!

The other risk is that you may end up with more politics at your next organization. Any software company at all with a lakh plus employees will have its fair share of politicians in it.

Thanks to Trump the market just isn't a good one for experienced 10-20 years on the job people, especially if they are management rather than hands on. So please look before you leap.

If counter politics help or yoga helps or whatever else helps reduce your stress, go ahead and explore those options before quitting in such uncertain times. Anyway have an offer in your hand BEFORE you quit is always a good policy.

Why does full disclosure have to include this aspect ?

IMO, you cannot mention this as a reason. You will have to think of a different reason for the change. May be just say personal reasons.
