Tell each customer how 'unfortunate' you are and how you hate doing this; will translate into large and generous sympathy-tips! :D

LOL this is exactly one of the two plans that keep on popping in my head whenever I read recession related news.
The other one is of putting my camera to some use by becoming a fashion photographer :D and getting eye tonic along with money

adc as usual you are the one showing the places this beast wants to goto. nice pics, good photography.

Another pic from today's drive.

I was wondering if anyone has had any issues with the exhaust banging against the road on really bad terrain, it seems to be hanging pretty low as compared to the rest of the underbelly.

hi mate, will you please remove that yellow sticker from headlamp? it looks like your headlamp glass is broken and you have fixed it with the tape.

Bang on. As much as I hate it, its mandatory, so there is nothing much I can do about it :)

Does it have to be yellow? I recall in Kerala you had to have a black stripe across the top of the light.

ADC's photographs confirms that even an 4x2 LX has enough power to reclaim your life.

Yes in Gujarat its a yellow band. Previously it was a black spot on the center of the headlight.

These rules keep changing depending on the whims and fancies of those in power.

I received only 1 reply for this, but not a solution though. Can someone help me on this please:

Sorry, I can't help you but, I am eager to know which part are you talking about? Please post the picture of the area if possible. I will check on mine (Feb 2009 VX) too. It will help us to be careful about them.

I think this post is more apt for Problems/Solutions thread of Safari?

Many thanks,

Thanks all for liking those pics. Back to Calcutta now after an overnight straight journey from Gangtok - and the heat and humidity is like killing out here right now.

The journey and the VTT went on without any trouble, but sure it is a strenous journey with roads steep and 1st/2nd gear for
around 4-5 hours continuous in some parts. The amazing vistas of Zuluk is not to be forgotten and the loop was done on the wrong side and we reached Gangtok. We were the only tourists out there, these places were not even known to much of Sikkim people themselves.

Cost being the only factor. The VTT had a whole of lot of bad and steep roads and now the whole left side aftermarket fog light housing is loose and jumping around in the bumper enclosure. This happened while coming back from Gangtok to Calcutta overnight but it must have been brought out by the roads it travelled while in East Sikkim

Some more VTT-TMT snaps along the Silk Route - East Sikkim

nice pics, thats a nice parking lot made by the constructors of that road. Nice area to have the car. did you walk all the way above that hill just to click the pics ?

ADC, Your pictures really rocks. How many kilometers have you clocked till now?
Keep posting the snaps, It really motivates us to go for such trips in our beasts.

Though it was a hard walk at 13k height , it was worth it - 1. due to a war memorial at the top and 2. To get a panoromic view of the road and the VTT.
