hmmmm,5 holes drilled on the roof!! I am rethinking now as this might pose a problem in rainy season! Also, might set the rusting process in action!
Thanks Aman for info!

That is why people fit roof lights on a rail that is suitably clamped. Drilling holes is a no no!
Got you Anupji! I shall try to see for those models too before taking a call:)

Some VTT-TMT pics, lots more will be on the celebration travelogue. |
I was wondering which colour(s) would look most appealing when wearing a coat of dirt. Most of the pictures here are of gleaming ones. It'd be great to have more pics when unwashed.
So far my personal favorite is adc's Cycus Grey:
Oh that picture is breathtaking!
Dont be surprised if TATA`s ad agency steals it off and uses it in a print ad!

Hey thanks, really felt good to see that pic again. Cycus grey does carry itself well among nature.
Also, you should have seen this, but then lets celebrate mudness again

Let me know if they do that, will take out a 4wd from them as royalty.
Hello all Safari guys,
Where have all the new Safari owners vanished, i've seen 3 new buy's just recently on T-BHP, Start shooting guys:)
Me not made any trips anywhere at present, so no pics from me.
Where are the others:(
BTW adc is now officially a 5-star rated Safari madman lol:
A 2WD safari and all the places he\'s gone, nothing short of madness.
Keep it going adc, your LTOR is really convincing, it\'ll keep lot of critics quite.

Trying to put all the Safari\'s in one single Portrait Photo, hope it will fit.
Drilling a hole in the body without taking proper care like priming the hole and then painting it etc., is inviting trouble.
I know it is sacrilage to post a Scorpio\'s picture in the safari forum here, but it is only for illustration.
The roof lights on my Scorpio are fixed with a 3M double sided tape and have experienced no problems till date at whatever speeds...
And on the hilarious side, for the many who asked about these roof lights, I said that this model is a limited edition; only 1000 vehicles were made and the roof lights came company fitted.

This is a remote locking security system from MGT . it works on FM frequency. Its LCD displays lock and unlock mode. has 3 different colors. Its looks are very attractive.Long range.Remote has a alarm clock. Beeps loudly if car is tampered.Cost-7000/-.
I am experiencing some problems with it, like the guy who fitted it at Reliance Auto Zone , Ambience Mall, Gurgaon was not able to connect immobilizer with it.I will soon contact a company guy and get is fixed. |
please: get me some idea where to find this in chandigarh. Lovely, will definitely go for one.

BJ the second picture looks very good and got a shock by seeing the ladies in the 1st picture thinking what they are doing on the Safari thread later saw the Safari on the corner.
Is your Safari 4 x 4 or the sticker has been put up on the front doors, as on the Safari 4x4 original stickers sit exactly on the top of the claddings.(Correct me if i am wrong)
So the total count on this thread is
62 Safari Owners.
