Yes guys.. dont be surprised.. I did not sell my Dicor.. Yes. it was up for sale and i did leve it for 3 hours at a dealer.. but just that thought of someone else owning my Beast did not click. So i still have it in Bangalore and its standing in the Garage with half tank of Diesel and batteries disconnected..
All pics are in my BHP garage. This is a new laptop and i dont have my safari pics on this one. If someone will be kind enough to paste them here will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

This thread can bring out some of the great pictures of this SUV as the garage will only have low resolution & limited pictures. This can also act as single point access for all safari pictures with out using the search function.
Pls. do post your pics & if possible take some time & effort like adc did. |
Thats a big compliment, thanks. And of course a SUV will always look good with nature as the background and definitely not in the garage confines.
And lastly yours Scorpio pictures definitely are the best on that other thread - no doubt.
A couple of youtube videos at Murguma for my monsoon run.

Always loved those snaps. Minimalist approach but still had the intended looks.
Jk....lovely snaps dude. Pearl white really looks amazing on a safari....better than black for sure.
Sumit...wait for the Hyd Monsoon drive this Sunday. Hopefully I hsould have some good pics of the truck to post then.
ADC.....WoW.....those are great pictures of your safari in wildernesscheers:.

Again, Wow!
Those are great pictures!
One thing that always amazes me is the greenery all over in the 'South'!
Even a short trip in the Himalayas in our corner of the world coats your 'beast' with mud and slime!
That last pic explains it - grass at the road shoulders! In the himalayas it is always dry mud, except during monsoons when it is 'slush' on the shoulders'!!
Near impossible to have such clean looking SUVs if you've been into any real 'adventure'.
But then, as they say, "the grass is always greener on the other side"!
bglsrini, nice pics.
What is that on top of the bonnet for your beast, what is that for?
snaps my beast will be up here very soon

OT: Sumit, just to let you know that in the NCR 2-in-1 meet last Saturday, you were selected (by us NCR bhpians) as an Honorary member of the "Safari Club" simply because of your undying & loyal dedication to the Brand. Hope this makes you feel happycheers:
Hi All, a small writeup from my side. Model: LX, Colour: Arctic Silver.
1) Car Pics-Different Profiles- Sorry about the picture quality. Am not a good photographer like any of you, and these are the only ones that can be deemed fit for display.
2) ICE Setup- Pioneer 4000UB, 4 JBL Speakers (no idea about the model number). Other additions: Gray fabric seat covers, floor mats, mud flaps for rear, front non-OEM fog lamps, Wuerth underbody coating, Xenos 6 parking sensors, but using only 4 (2 front + 2 rear). Autocop security system. And oh, not to forget the small lock for the spare wheel as well :)
3) Wheels- standard, Bridgestone Duelers on steel rims.
4) Kms Done and a small review- 2100 kms. About a month and 2 weeks old to this date. Feels like an Indica to drive/handle. In short, the girth is not felt while on the move.
5) Pro's and Con's so far- Pros: Space. And lots of it. Cons: U-turns and finding the right parking spots are a bit of a pain in the neck.
6) A link to your BHP garage- Garage not occupied yet.
Cheers.

I am floored! Honorary member of the club and that too when I don't own one, but I promise, I will someday :D
Congrats, Sumit!
You've started a trend! :)

Thanks Bro.. Uploading Pics of my Dicor 3.0
Goddy
Ok here goes the details of my ride christened
The Bull. I've seen here that all the pictures are of mostly Safaris of recent produce, mainly the DICORs. In that sense my vehicle becomes the senior citizen of the lot.
Details:
1998 TCIC Turbodiesel 4x4
External DC kit
Osram 100/130 HL bulbs
Stock ICE - Philips cassette Deck
Installed JVC CD/VCD/MP3 player
Original Kumho tubeless in stepney
DC Alloys with JK Brute 4x4 tyres
70000 Kms
Roof mounted screen
FE - 9-10 Kmpl in city and upto 11 kmpl on highway with full AC
An excellent highway machine that doesn't fatigue the driver on long distances. I did Gurgaon - Mumbai - Khandala/Lonavala and back in 2006 without a problem or strain. Currently driven by better half and oh boy, does she get attention? You bet.

Godfather,Dkamat and gd1418,
