sid, the problematic areas in your car is marked in red circles. sorry to say, but its really looking bad. look at pavan's safari. he has done a real good job.

Its more noticeable due to color (white) also, Pavan's safari is red and somehow this 3rd pillar blackening is not looking very pronounced on that.

How bad were the traffic jams at Rohtang?

since we started early, we didnt get any jam on climbing, but while coming down, we got stuck before marhi village. near about 40 min.

Roads are in real bad shape. big path holes, slippery mud mostly at hairpin turns.

This is when I really fell in love with this color; some hard driving over dirt filled roads and mud spewed all over and this is what you get:

Would have been a eye sore if the same treatment was given to the little blackie.

But, after a run down with water and a quick wipe:

They are some kind of stickers the number plate makers etc use. paid 600Rs for the work. They shouldnt be costly and should be easy to procure.

Thanks JK, will check it out with the local guys.

Cheers

What a splash of RED. Gr8 pics Suresh.

JKD, superb pics man !! IMHO I still feel the pillar blackening kills the character of the Safari.
