You mean economy of Rs 1 per Km?

Unless Tata has entered politics I don't think they would promise to sell a car at 1 Rs

I was driving my BIL's 800 mpfi 3adults incl me + 1 kid(adults on all lighter side of 65kgs) and we spotted a Nano approx 200mtrs ahead on the Shirur to Pune stretch. Being a good road we were doing +95 kmph speedo and it was very hard to catch up with the Nano. The Nano was overtaking ST's, boleros with ease and as the driver was changing lanes the Nano seemed glued to the road there was very minimal body roll which you can normally observe in the boleros sumos etc. I dont know the engine capacity of this Nano that i was trying to catch up with but it sure pulls nice and quick -- quicker than an mpfi 800 thru the gears.

In that case, It will be able to run on the highway as well.
More mileage per car

sure me Feels!!! It looks Tall and can be easily spotted although width is as much as an Auto. The test drivers were zipping left and right overtaking vehicles and it was not drifting and seems the suspension setup is stiff.

Dont Temme. You were expecting the Nano to drift.

Wow I wonder if it would do that, it would look very cute doing the drift.

We Cant have a slow car racing category (I remember doing slow cycling race in school days, where you were supposed to go dead slow and the person coming last would win)

I just saw the TATA NANO being tested today in Adugodi, near MICO factory, close to Koramangala. it was a metallic white color one, with no cover or anything, just in the flesh. No use taking any pics as all of us have seen what it looks like.

CHEERS,
