Top 7 in the points table is like revolving door, teams keep switching positions.
Looks like DC's reign at the top is over. After indifferent starts to the season, finalists of last year CSK and RR have bubbled their way up.
Current score- Kolkata Knight Riders 83/1 (11.6/20 ov)
Seems my prediction of DD win is back on track

KKR 154/3 in 20, what were they saving the wickets for?
not a great score, but should be a good contest if KKR bowl well.
Go KKR

With 4 teams having odd points, the way points table changes after each match is interesting. Odd teams have an advantage here, 15 points should be enough to make it to semifinals, so teams like DC/RCB/KXP/DD will need to have 16 points or more to make it to last 4. Which means they need to have an extra win compared to CSK/RR/MI.

Keeping that in mind, this is what i think will be the points table in the end
P1 DD - 18 points
P2 One team out of DC/RCB/KXP - 16 points
P3/P4 2 teams out of CSK/RR/MI - 15 points each

One team out of CSK/RR/MI may end up with 17, but still only 2 out of CSK/RR/MI will qualify

Go KKR
Today KKR guys are practicing dropping catches and mis fielding in the match with DD.

Mr. Buch way to go man .. To hell with you and your superlative innovations....

What the hell were the Knight Riders trying? I'm expecting Buchanan to be sacked at the end of this season. It looked like a practice match for Delhi - play lofted shots, don't worry about getting out.
Anyway, Rajasthan won their match. That makes me happy.

I actually felt sad for "phoren baba" and rest of the KKR team while they were fielding.
Firstly they had lot of lofted shots and where those fell there were no fielders.
Then if they had fielders covering up, everyone was intent on dropping the catch.
And when Van Wyk finally held a catch the umpire did not see it!!!.

So 2 more teams from 2010 in the IPL. More fun

And what's with John Buchanan ? He wants more foreign players in the playing X1. Did someone forget to remind him that it is the INDIAN Premier League !

EDIT - Lalit Modi just did - Cricinfo - Tactical time-outs could be reduced - Modi

I am not at all sorry for them. Not because i support delhi but the way they had been planning is pathetic. You make 150 on a batting pitch against delhi and expect to win with your mediocre bowling attack, hilarious.
Now they can keep there last 7 wickets and play in dressing room
My advice to SRK- Sack John,Sack his supporting staff, Sack brendon as captain.
Bring an Indian coach who knows the beat of indian cricket, better domestic and foreign players, make Dada as captain(atleast KR didnt performed pathetic last year in his captainship).

RR is back with a bang. This IPL Is getting more interesting day by day. One win and whole table changes. Now DD is on top, lesse after todays match who is next

todays prediction - Deccan chargers win.

Todays game is too hard to predict. Can't place my money on anyone.

All I can say that it is expected to be a high scoring game since Zaheer and Fidel Edwards are both not playing.
