The Gran Turismo 4 Photo Mode thread

There are quite a number of GT4 nutters on this forum too. I say, let's come up with the best composed shots possible and post them here.

I have just started out and here are my first few attempts.

1. Formula Gran Turismo @ Trial Mountain

2. Nissan Skyline GT-R Midnight Purple @ Laguna Seca Raceway

3. Formula Gran Turismo @ Seattle circuit.

Why are the images a bit pixelated? Did the quality go down when you transfered them onto the comp?

BTW, how did you manage to get those images onto your PC?

I tried PS on the images but I guess that resulted in the "pixelatedness". I've re-uploaded the original un-PSed images now. What do you think?

Transferring to PC was easy. Plugged my 4gb Sony micro-vault in the PS3. From the Photo Lab option @ home in GT Mode you can choose to either print or transfer to USB drive.

edit: I think the reason the images appear pixelated is because they are all motion shots and not stills. Only IMO, could be wrong here.

Oh, you're using a PS3 to play GT4 is it. But somehow i find the images to be far better when you view them from the console on the TV. Thats prob coz the TV footage is 480p.

Yep, and waiting for my GT5. IIRC, PS2 also has USB slot/s for you to plug-in your flash drives.

Man, after looking at these snaps one really gets an idea as to how much GT5 has improved.

Will see if i can transfer GT4 images onto my comp sumhow, coz i'm still on PS2.
