Its raining in Bangalore. OK, not raining but drizzling and the weather sure is pleasant. Not cold, a bit humid and warm but it beats the chill of Bangalore for the last couple of months !!!

Appears to be quite widespread! I woke up early morning (before 5 AM) to the sound of rain and thought I was dreaming! But it was raining quite nicely! This is in a place where it practically doesn't rain much throughout the year! (Karur, TN). After effects of the lunar eclipse last week?

Its because of some systems developing. Which one ? not sure. This is what IMD tells

Driving home is more enjoyable in this weather. Rained all the way from EC to Uttarahalli. Driving on roads in this cool weather and sans the 2 wheelers is so less stressful.

It's raining in Muvattupuzha, a much needed one, as the temperature was soaring above 40°C for the first time ever in this part of Kerala. Guess most of Central and South Kerala may be getting rain.

First system in 125 years on the Arabian Sea in March (a weak one unlike Okchi). Its moved from South of TN, with Tirunelveli and Tuticorin districts getting heavy rains 2 days back.

Now its moved over to the Arabian Sea, hence parts of KL, KA, Lakshadweep will get rains. Parts of Interior TN are getting some due to pull effect of the system.

Had a slight drizzle in Chinchwad, Pune area during the morning hours. It surely had to rain because I got my car serviced a day before and it was shining after a good wash.

Re: The "It's raining in my city" Thread!

More afternoon and late evening showers expected today through Sunday in Bangalore, the so called Mango showers. Last evening was really nice, a good amount of rain leading to cooling down of temperatures and the smell of petrichor (wet earth after a prolonged dry period).

Looking forward to today's rains, perfect for a tipple

Showers are predicted in Hyderabad this weekend. It is already getting a bit gloomy due to clouds. Should start drizzling by the evening I guess.

As I type this sitting beside an open window (in Rajajinagar), I am saying hello to the heavy wind that seems to be carrying a whiff of impending rain. Two wheelers are swaying around on the road and a few parked ones have fallen down. Hope it rains and rains well.
