Phew! Writing all this is making me hungry. Time to have lunch.
Thanks!
Dwarka, South Thindies are on my list for a while now

Kottureshwara - I've been to the original one with same name in Davanagere opposite the college in Vidya Nagar but will try this sometime. I guess it's not too far away from National college and Brahmins coffee bar.

Karnataka Bhel house - where is this ?

Yes, talking about these places makes one feel hungry, time for lunch now

Dwarka is nowhere as good as it was in bull temple road. Rest of the places are good. Karnataka bhel house is in chamarajpet. 5 mins from uma theatre. Cross the signal and it's near bata showroom.

You can also try by2coffee(opposite bugle rock), slv (near Bda complex, bsk 2nd stage)

Hotel Mangala is better than the Dwaraka these days. Landmark is Kaggis bakery near the Nirmala store bus stop. Parking is a problem here.

One of my favourite place is the Gururaja condiment stores opposite to Uma theater in the same lane as Mishra pedhas. They make awesome snacks , bonda and bajjis. Perfect for Bangalore weather.

1. Malleswhwaram railway station idly hotel. Don't recollect the name , but it is a small joint next to railway station and very famous there. They serve a very good idly, vada, chow chow bath and shavige.
Raghavendra Stores. Was quite easy on the pocket until a few years ago.
The fare has been quite consistent in taste & quality, over the last 8 odd years that I have been going there.
Prices are kind of on par with other establishments now.

Can any one here please share first hand reviews of the Davangere benne dosa place near Netkalappa Circle.
Planning to take my parents there over the weekend.

It is very good. Have been there multiple times. Have had dosa, mirchi bajji, mandakki there. They have a small sitting place in the basement, but only self service.

It will be crowded in the weekend evenings.

Re: A Guide: Eating out in Bangalore

Could someone provide a GMaps location tag for the Davangere Dosa place at NK Circle discussed above? Would love to rekindle some fond childhood memories of time spent in Davangere/Harihar. Mirchi Bhajji and Mandakki parcels enjoyed at Tungabhadra riverside on a summer evening. Ah childhood, how I miss thee!

Thanks!

Here you go: https://goo.gl/maps/j6X1nfwDap12

Edit: Try paddu as well

While you're at it, try Shavige Bath at UD(Upahara Darshini). From the Benne Dosa shop, walk straight towards signal and take left. 2nd shop on your left is UD.

After UD go straight in DVG road till the further junction and in the right corner, next to a shoe shop there is a small bhajji shop. Try those as well. Make most use of your visit to netkallappa circle

There is another very good option for north Karnataka style benne dosa in Jayanagar 4th block, opposite the Maiyyas store. Its called Gramin Thindi. You can try it out, wont be disappointed. However, its a stand and eat joint.

Will add this to the list. A visit to Maiyyas has also been pending on the same list for some time now.

Talking about Benne Dosas, Nalapaka in Rajajinagar also does a decent job with it. But I'm looking for something closer to the real deal; hence the urge to try the one near Netkalappa Circle.

This is a glimpse of what I belted at Davangere a week ago:
