We had been to Aagaman Veg on CMH Road. The place used to have a Buffet Dinner which has now been taken off due to less patronage. So we decided to go A-la-carte and ordered a assorted veg platter and soups. The starters were good and complimented the soup. Then we went for the Sabzi and Roti fare which was good also. But the crowning dish of the meal was the Dal Tadka which was lip smacking and spicy. It complimented the Jeera Rice that we had. Overall a good Veg place in Indiranagar with good ambience.

"Sansar" : that is the name I was trying to remember to give as reference :).
Whatever you have Dosa with toppings or Momos or Kati rolls, the masala soda at the Sansar entrance is good to wash down with :thumbs up.

I miss those kati rolls !

Yesterday went to Chutney Chang, at 3rd Block Jayanagar beside cosmopolitan club, it's an all buffet restaurant.

Have not visited their other outlets (museum road) but this one sucks. Every item was at best mediocre:Shockked:. Ambiance is all right though. Not at all VFM.

Will advise everybody to skip this outlet.

Rating 1/5.

I got introduced to some awesome Kati rolls, at a small shop ~ opposite to AAI on Kundalahalli Main Road (Google maps also shows this as ITPL main road ?! )

Where is this? I have trying to find it for about a week. I remember seeing it somewhere but simply could not locate it! Has it closed down or what?

Or maybe its the timings? I typically frequent the area around 4-4:30pm. Help please.

Last Saturday went to Savoury - Sea Shell restaurant Near Maruti Sagar Automobiles at Bannerghatta road for dinner.

Ordered Arabian Mushakkal (BBQ assorted) and Mandi leham. It was good. They also have valet parking. The over all experience was satisfactory.

Rating 3/5.:thumbs up

Ooops .. What a coincidence :Shockked:, I wanted to write about Sea Shell and foudn your post here.

I never went to this place as I do not prefer sea food, but if you like Arabian food then this is the place. The service, food and parking all are perfect.

Looking for a short drive with family + having some good Non-Veg food. Any such places in a range of 75-100Kms from Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore?

Since ITC Windsor and Le Meridian are in your list, you can also consider Lalit Ashok which is nearby to ITC Windsor.
But then, you should consider the ITC Gardenia too but that's closer to Residency Road and Cubbon Park Or even The Taj West End since it has a very nice open, green surroundings and that definitely adds to the experience!

I had been to the Rajdhani restaurant at Phoenix market city last Suday and thoroghly enjoyed the lunch menu. The service was awesome, tasty food and the ambience was neat too. Best thing, though its a buffet, its not one. You are served fixed menu on your table and the stewards dont shout at one other, but just cordinate through hand signals. Its only VEG food though but worth having it once in a while.

In that case I would suggest West End and Ashok. You get open spacee and brunches are best. Hope this is not coming at a time, when you are already having your lunch !
