Had been to Elements in Benson Town and absolutely loved the food. Barring a Lamb Mexicano, which tasted gross, everthing else we ordered tasted yummy; economical too.

Friends, any rooftop restaurants around banaswadi, kammanahalli areas

Tamarind Nr Banaswadi Fire Station.

This isnt related to Bangalore but Pizza Hut. I happened to order their pasta 'creamy chicken alfredo' . This is the worst pasta I have ever eaten. The single most vile aspect in that pasta was its bitter taste. What a waste of money.

A little hard on the pocket, and not exactly in either East or South Bangalore - The Rim Naam at the Oberoi at MG Road rocks for outstanding Thai food.

For Thai/Malay resto's, Check out these,

1. Phileas Hogg, in Marathahalli - AMAZING THAI FOOD
2. On the Edge, in MG Rd -13th Floor and open terrace, Order Yellow Thai Curry and Fettuccini in Porcini Sauce, good flavor
3. Aroy - JP nagar (AS MENTIONED by fellow BHPian)

THE BEST I have tasted so far other than these above,

Rim Naam @ Oberoi & BENJRONG :thumbs up

I have been to this place regularly. Off late, in my last 2 visits in past 1 month, they show some sign of decline in quality/taste/service. I have seen that trend in other places before, and generally in 6 months from this signs, they shut down. I hope they pull up their socks, because I liked the place.

Another recommended place for Thai would be (east/south B'lore) Magnolia, at 80' road Koramangala, it is above Reliance fresh, on first left when you enter 80' rd from Sarjapur road side.

Recently, I had been to Via Milano, next to Sony World Junction, Koramangala.

Though Burrp doesn't have good to say about them, I had some great food there -- nice bruschetta and a tasty Bavarian style pizza. The only let down was the orange creme brulee which turned out to be a little too hard. Overall 3/5. :thumbs up

Hows the pricing?

Anyone has gone to Lebmex? Wanted to try some lebanese food, any pointers?

Try Ranoosh in Shanti Nagar. On KH Road going from Lalbagh towards Richmond Road, just beside the start of the fly-over, just beside a hotel called Golden Pavillion or something. Genuine stuff - cooks are Lebanese, I think. Amazing falafel, done just right. And garlic labneh! Moderate prices, VFM.

I was having a sizzler at Benito's on Sarjapur road once, and I didn't notice that a piece of the chicken was in direct contact with the iron pan because of torn cabbage leaf. And when I put that piece in my mouth, the overheated spot touched my tongue.

How is this place? Any advice on whats and what nots? We like pastas, steak, sizzlers.

A three course meal comes to roughly 1000 per person. So you could say a little expensive!

There is a Lebanese restaurant in Forum Value Mall Whitefield.

I have not tried, so no comments about authenticity or pricing :-)

The ambience is good. The waiters are polite. I like the chicken filled mushroom (starter), prawn gambroni and seafood pasta. But I've observed that the quality is not consistent. Once I was thoroughly disappointed, when the seafood was not fresh and pasta was overcooked, and although I had asked for Penne, they had served a mix of Penne (which was authentic pasta) and elbow (which was probably Bambino or MTR).

I found the sizzler just average. Nothing to make it stand out.

I've never had steak :(

For the veggies in East Bangalore:
Had been to Good Luck on Jeevan Bima Nagar main road (near 9th main, Opp. Indiranagar Cambridge/Miranda school).
Good Thali with Rajashthani, Gujrathi and Maharashtrian dishes. VFM and clean place.
