Lol !! What are yr favourites ? Ishan .
Ishan's favorite songs do not generate any emotion in him. More like motion. Of the hand.

Mostly because its Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai. And you deserve an award to get that wrong.

The Rajkumar song "If you come today it will be too early, If you come tomorrow it will be too late... tick..tick..tick.tick..tick..tick..." arouses rather sharp emotions. Of laughter.

I find Evanescence quite good , especially the Bring me to Life single. I don't know about other emotions but it does propel my mind to drive my car extremely fast although in a responsible way. Sounds like an oxymoron but true.

Quoting one of my posts in this thread

Quote:
As I have mentioned before there ain t a better song than Bring me to Life by Evanescence, typically reflects my driving style, first as the car starts start the song( it is really has a slow tempo in the beginning) drive the car slowly to let the oil circulate and then around 0.31 start mildly accelerating( the song's tempo starts gradually increasing at this moment) and at exactly 0.52 as soon as the song rises in tempo bury the accelerator l to the floor. The above procedure can also be done while listening to Turn the Page by Metallica.

Song : Bring me to life
Artist Par excellence: Amy Lee

how can you see into my eyes like open doors
leading you down into my core
where I’ve become so numb without a soul my spirit sleeping somewhere cold
until you find it there and lead it back home

(Wake me up)
Wake me up inside
(I can’t wake up)
Wake me up inside
(Save me)
call my name and save me from the dark
(Wake me up)
bid my blood to run
(I can’t wake up)
before I come undone
(Save me)
save me from the nothing I’ve become

now that I know what I’m without
you can't just leave me
breathe into me and make me real
bring me to life

(Wake me up)
Wake me up inside
(I can’t wake up)
Wake me up inside
(Save me)
call my name and save me from the dark
(Wake me up)
bid my blood to run
(I can’t wake up)
before I come undone
(Save me)
save me from the nothing I’ve become

Bring me to life
(I've been living a lie, there's nothing inside)
Bring me to life

frozen inside without your touch without your love darling only you are the life among the dead

all this time I can't believe I couldn't see
kept in the dark but you were there in front of me
I’ve been sleeping a thousand years it seems
got to open my eyes to everything
without a thought without a voice without a soul
don't let me die here
there must be something more
bring me to life

(Wake me up)
Wake me up inside
(I can’t wake up)
Wake me up inside
(Save me)
call my name and save me from the dark
(Wake me up)
bid my blood to run
(I can’t wake up)
before I come undone
(Save me)
save me from the nothing I’ve become

(Bring me to life)
I’ve been living a lie, there’s nothing inside
(Bring me to life)

Though it is of rock genre, am sure most busy dads will feel the lyrics at heart.

Not exactly of the "emotional" category. But I really liked this new song titled "kabhi kabhi aditi zindagi" from "Jaane tu... ya jaane na". AR Rahman's tune in this particular song is very refreshing.

Funny no one mentioned 'Another day in Paradise'
by Phil Collins.
Gees..I wonder why he wasn't confered with the 'Knighthood'
by the Queen. Even that beetle chap Paul McCartney has it !

No MLTR songs ???!! 'Someday', 'The Actor'.

Rafi saab's 'Tu ees tarha se meri jindagi mein shamil hain'

'Yeh aasme yeh baadal...yeh raasatein yeh hawa
Har ek cheez hain, apni, jagah thikaane se
Kai dino se shikaayat nahin jamaane se,
Yeh jindagi hain safar, tu, safar ki manzil hain'

Wah wah wah wah!

'Everybody hurts' --R.E.M

'Earth Song' --MJ (Micheal lal jaikishen)

Unchained Melody - 'Gareth Gates version'

'Sometimes love just ain't enough' -- Patty Smith.

'Had a Bad Day' -- Daniel Powter (Must hear after u had a bad day)

'I just died in your arms tonight' -Cutting Crew.

'Just For you' -- Lionel Riche

'All of my life' -- Phil Collins.

'Complicated Heart' - MLTR

'Maa tujhe salaam' --AR Rahman

'O sanam' - Lucky Ali

Hey one more thing, in these reality shows (Song and dance) why do many senior artists shun 'Atif Aslam' so much. First it was Sunidhi Chavhan asking the participant not to sing any of his songs. Then recently it was Abhijeet (promos) asking the kid not to have an songs of this 'Ghatiya Singer'. Any one knows about any tiff between Atif and Bollywood singers??

More to come as I recollect.
