merc price in chennai-help

Hi,

Planning on an upgrade and was wondering if I could find a good merc for 15 lakhs or lesser. If so which model would I be able to find and the year of manufacture? I would prefer a diesel as I drive quite a bit. Just thought it would be cooler to drive a merc than drive one of the other cars on the roads. Would I really be able to find a clean well maintained merc? Please help guys. Or would I be better off with a skoda or a civic?

Maintenance costs will kill you. I had seen a chart somewhere on the maintenance costs of a 2nd hand benz. Will try to dig it out.

Also, interest rates are higher for a used car. If you are paying cash then its a different issue.

Agreed that the snob value is going to go up a few notches if you drive a benz, especially if you are in business. :-)

If you have that budget a Laura/Sonata/Civic could serve you better.
