Gold Standard is a blend with primary source as isolate, through CFM. Allow me to find a source for the CFM, I remember having verified it earlier.

Incidental dietary cholesterol is not in any way bad for humans.

Other than this, there is no reason to ditch TWT if you have no other problem like digestion or mixing issue. You can definitely re-stock your unfavoured TWT Whey.
How do you consume it? I have been thinking to buy unflavoured whey but I drink it with water and I am worried about the taste. I am thinking of adding Cadbury Hot Chocolate powder to it to flavour it.
I mix it with water, honestly tastes like lactose powder without any sugar. I'm OK with it since I only take one scoop in about 250ml of water. Havent had an issue with mixing or digestion.

My trainer said that lower grades of Whey have higher chances of causing side effects like Hair Loss.

But then there is no point in such ramblings ... the popularity and commercial success of fairness creams stand testimony to futility of facts and logic in the realm of human desires.

Look for something that is zero carb with no added sugar. Walk into the GNC nutrition store to get authentic products. I have been told by multiple trainers that even they have got regular flour in the ON protein boxes they have bought from Amazon.

The word protein comes from the greek word "prōteios", meaning 'of prime importance'.
The sheer number and variety of functions that protein performs for the human body is mind boggling. The musculoskeletal system, sure, but add immune bodies, every connective and structural tissue: joints, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, teeth, hair, skin, nails, production of hormones, neurotransmitters, repair & maintenance of nearly every cell of every organ, synthesis of non-essential amino acids, etc., etc. And if this wasn't enough, it can, in times of need, be an alternate fuel source too, through gluconeogenesis.

A diet severely lacking in quality protein is one of the biggest reasons our health as a nation is in such poor state.

The human body is born with the ability to utilise protein, and the general scientific consensus today for a sedentary human is to ingest approx 1gm per kg of bodyweight of first class protein.
That is for a sedentary human to get by, and is by no means optimal.
The OP has asked for a protein supplement as they workout, and depending on intensity, that generates additional requirement of protein by a minimum of 50%. Which means, at the lowest intensity, which would be that of a beginner, your optimal protein requirement is approximately 1.5 gms per kg of bodyweight.

The Whole Truth also offers a Whey Isolate though? Thats the one I'm having currently.

Post this, my wife and I tried out the Light Cocoa and the Cold Coffee flavours of the TWT Whey Isolate (24g) variant. It's somewhat cost effective if you buy kilo-packs from their website directly.

These two probably tasted the most decent, with almost zero sugar (natural or added).

One Science, D Protein, ON, Muscle Blaze etc all had some form of artificial sweetener or the other.

We've decided to exclusively stick to TWT Isolate for now.

Only thing is: the packaging is kind of weak and tears easily. So we've bought nice airtight glass jars to store them in.

This post is going to give the typical "protein supplements are bad for you" gyaan. I can understand how one might get exasperated with yet another fellow giving this gyaan. But here it goes anyway -

I will be turning 40 years old in December and from my experience with these things till now I suggest the following to GTO (who asked the question first) and to all other readers:

a. Do not eat packaged food or anything not made fresh. No chocolates, no protein powders, no namkeen, no chips, nothing. Be VERY careful of what goes in your mouth.

b. Eat home cooked simple vegetarian meals. Every time.

c. Include ankurit chana/daal/seeng dana (sprouts) in your diet every single day. Soaked over night. They are protein sources like none other.

d. Eat less. Eat till you are 80% full.

e. Eat twice a day with an 8hr gap in the middle. Let your stomach rest for 8 hours. It will work wonders for you.

f. Protein powder? Answer: Sattu! It is made of powdered organic chana, jau and other simple Indian protein sources. Have it in a shaker, like you would any artificial protein shake. Google it, buy it and have it with your two meals a day.

That's it, that is all the protein someone who is doing medium weight lifting needs. Our bodies do not need any more than that.
