Please advice.
Though I am no financial expert, but the first option looks good. With inflation on its norhward journey, all forms of credits are bound to go upwards.

Re: The Property / Real Estate Thread

Any specific reviews on Chennai based builders? I am looking at some projects in OMR/Porur. With all top builders like Hiranandani, DLF, Mantri etc delaying projects in Chennai, really dont know who to trust.

I am looking for reviews on TVH(true value), Doshi and VGN developers.

Flats Without Broker - Bangalore!!

The heading pretty much says what this thread is going to be about. Calling out all the people from Bangalore to post if they are looking for tenants or are looking for a house. I think it's might just become a nice initiative if we can help out each other by saving some brokerage amount OR as it should be put down in this website; say some 100-200 ltrs worth of petrol :P

I know it does. There are few other websites too. I just wanted to start this thread so that the members of Team-BHP can straight away come in touch with other members.

Re: Flats Without Broker - Bangalore!!

In cities like Mumbai & Pune, many of the brokers have started taking brokerage every year, even if the tenent continues to stay in the same house/flat. This seems to be such a bad thing. Is that the case in Bangalore too?

Have hated these brokers for pocketing the easy money. They usually gang up with the watchmen and security guards and everyone gets a split of the money.

Useless site AFAIK. I spent 6 weekends last year end hunting for owner ads on sulekha before I finally found a place. by the 6th weekend I was actually laid down in bed with exhaustion of running around to see totally useless places.

If the owners advertising their flats can post pics and mention wall to wall carpet length for each room, it will help many BHP'ians.

LOL Brilliant idea.

Not yet in Bangalore but such unscrupulous tactics will soon be here.

We have some flats in Goa which we give on rent. My dad never approached an agent due to their unethical practices.

+1

You have no clue how long I've been hunting for a decent place. And then there are few brokers who hike up the rent just so that they get bigger commission but we've to dole out that extra amount for the entire year.

Right now I'm looking for a 2 BHK in Bangalore which should be not far than 6-7 kms as my office is at M.G. Road. Do let me know if anyone has any info for me?

Re: The Property / Real Estate Thread

Guys, what is meant by moratorium period? I have a fair idea but can anyone explain this with an illustration as to how is amount payable is calculated during this period and how it will affect one's loan.

Thanks in advance.

Re: The Property / Real Estate Thread

Anyone knows anyone who's letting out a house/apartment in Indiranagar, Bangalore? 1BHK or 2BHK, both will do. Around Indiranagar will do too.
