Re: Lost money to a very convincing scam online | Fraudsters posing as Fedex

Was feeling a little bit left out/dejected since by now most have gotten the infamous "customs/courier/fedex" call, but I was not blessed yet

Finally got a call from +91 7205858872, someone marked as "Mannat Nani" or something similar in truecaller.

Without ado the caller stated(played) his/her motive - want to spam me - in Hindi & then English. The stupid message was somewhat like this : "Your consignment has some problems, stuck at customs, call 1 for details/9 to speak to authorities" !

Was hard-pressed for time, couldn't humour them like some members did here, though would've loved to play fool & waste their time/get some wholesome entertainment

FWIW, members please note this number! Have flagged as spam in truecaller.

Re: Lost money to a very convincing scam online | Fraudsters posing as Fedex

Got two FedEx scam calls yesterday morning and today morning. The first call yesterday was from 99060 48072 and as per truecaller, the number was from J&K. The second call today was from +1 929 413 7533 originating from New York city. I have marked both numbers as FedEx scam. Looks like these guys are making advances in scamming people.
