Do you talk to your car?

Was just wondering, how many of us talk to our cars? Well, I might sound crazy, but I regularly do that. Things like "Good morning, good night, take care." Sometimes, when I just sit inside my ride on a sunday morning and talk to it for some time. And whenever it's in the garage, I make it a point to drop by and give him a hug at least once everyday and tell him that everything's gonna be all right. Wifey does that too. Talks to him more than I do. Well, is there anyone else as crazy as me?

Did that once while my windows were down. The traffic cop next to my car at the signal thought I needed professional medical attention. Therefore, and in conclusion, I stopped talking to my car.

Yes. But it is generally when I take her over a bad pothole - "Sorry for that baby". Or if she has got me off a close shave or a quick burst of speed - "You se*y thing". LOL

Maybe he was right. There may still be hope and it may not be too late. We are all with you.

Well it is hard to accept but, yes I do talk to my car. Its like Sorry dear when taking her hard over the bad roads. Giving it a pat and thanking her when I manage to overtake trucks on highways at the last minute...

I dont know whats more crazy... that you talk to your car or that you think your car is a "he".

Well I've named my cars Angelina & Salma. Based on their characteristics and the way I handle them. Anything else left to say? ;-)

Sorry if that sounds sexist.

I talk to her through my mind. And she understands.

By the way, Mahindra Scorpio talks to the driver. In a female voice.

Yep, I talk to my cars.
"You were wonderful tonight baby..." or "I'm so sorry baby..." (after falling into a pothole or something)

Lol... needless to say, people think I am nuts, and it's definitely not something the ladies appreciate. Oh well....

this is a very nice thread.

i always talk to my car ever since i fell in love with her. i was @ Hyderabad for 3 years. and whenever i used to leave her back in Kolkata - i used to tell her, "dont worry baby i will be back to you. take care of yourself". i used to do this on the night before i used to leave. whenever i drove over a pothole i used to say "sorry baby". i do this even now as well.

ETC also knows aout this - i love my car as much as i love my GF.

There is a certain mike on this forum, will be around shortly. I am sure he will speak quite a lot to his owner. The only lines i speak are ' Go Baby Go' or '$hit man, that was close'.
