Some unbelievably good pics here. Adding my two bits, hope am not spamming, people!

The first one is from a recent trip to Benares - the title of the pic is "Possibilities".

The second one was clicked near Irai dam, Tadoba. I call it "Undefeated".

The third one, again from Tadoba, is titled "Pensive".

And the last one, breaking the trend, is taken from my balcony on a full moon using my phone. Hope you like them.

I travelled to Ratnagiri for some work, which is the home town of one of my friends.
He was still a kid when they relocated to Pune and he had requested me to click some pics of his childhood home.

Though now abandoned and in a dilapidated condition, the remains clearly show the layout of a typical Konkan home. Note the copious use of jambha (local volcanic rock) stone as building material.

On my way back, I pulled over for a break, and noticed this little dude perched on my windshield. The pattern on his wings reminded me so much of Sherlock Holmes' story, The Speckled Band, that I decided I must take a pic. I am no professional photographer, so I was very pleased the pic turned out just right.
Do zoom in the admire the speckled beauty in it's full glory.

Here are a few submissions,by no means Best going by what I see here.

Had got my hands on XUV700 and was waiting for the year end to drive down somewhere and was able to get safari @ Satpura, and Kuno. So drove down. Enroute stopped at Chausath Yogini Temple and a few other places.

Sighted Jackal, Deers, Bison, Neelgay, Smith Bear but no Cats !

Reserves in India should do better to track movement using Technology for a better safari experience ( controversial but personal opinion) else people will save on 4 Indian Safaris to take one African safari. Yes the travel, stay, etc do add up!
