Voyager aka Prashi passes away

Prashi aka Prashanth Kumar passed away this morning in a road accident on the way back from Hyderabad to Bangalore.

He went with the handle Nomad on many forums. I am not sure if he ever had a user id here or actively posted. But I do know many of you from Bangalore and the motorcycling commununity in India knew him on a first name basis.

He has been instrumental in forming various motorcycle communities and propeling a few legacy brands to new heights within the Indian motorcycling scene.

Most of us are still processing the loss.

He will be missed.

Just heard that Tbhp member Voyager aka Nomad aka Prashanth PK is not more.
Passed away in a road accident near Anantapur while he was on his way back to Bangalore from Hyderabad.

Heard he was hit from the back by an Innova.

RIP Prashi, you will be missed

Couldn't believe it when I heard the news.

Back in the day, when I started riding and got my Bullet, I met him frequently either at my Bullet mechanic's garage or at the Yezdi garage. He always had one of his bikes there being mod'd for some event or a vintage being rebuilt. Many of the bikes I saw for the first time, were from his collection.

I was fascinated by his 350 Twin engine which was shoehorned into a Jawa 250 chassis. It was so tastefully done and he saw me drooling over it at the garage, that he asked me to take it for a spin.

It was just a week ago I saw the video of him introducing the 650 drag racer.
He lived his life, though it was too early and a sad way to go.

I have met him in almost every Rider Mania, I have attended. To say I am in shock since I heard this unfortunate news is an understatement.

I cannot and will not believe it.

We have all suffered a huge loss.

Every BOBMC meet will be incomplete without his amazing style and charming personality.

That is a terrible loss and a totally unacceptable loss. No one deserves to go like this. Pray for his soul and condolences to his family and friends. The sad truth is that no road in India is safe for bikers/pedestrians.
