Just watched David Cronenberg's "Eastern Promises", starring Viggo Mortensen, Vincent Cassel and Naomi Watts.

Pretty good watch. About the Russian Mob, set in London. Typical Cronenberg -- very, very, explicit and hardhitting violence. And quite a bit of explicit (for a mainstream movie) sex and male nudity. The movie has a very simple theme, but it has been presented well. Naomi Watts is her sweet self

If it is the con theme you're looking for:
- The Sting (Paul Newman, Robert Redford) This is the BEST of THE BEST. No other con movie can touch this!
- The Sting 2 (Jackie Gleason)
- The Grifters (John Cusack, Annette Bening, Anjelica Huston)
- Confidence (I-forgot-his-name, Dustin Hoffman, Rachel Weisz)
- Ladykillers (the 1950s original starring Peter Sellers, Alec Guinness, & others, and the 2004 remake with Tom Hanks)
- Matchstick Men (Nicholas Cage, Sam Rockwell)
- Ocean's 11, 12, 13 (but you knew that already, right?)
- Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Michael Caine, Steve Martin)

There are more, but can't think of them off the top of my head

Virggo Mortensen has been nominated for the best actor oscar for his role in Eastern Promises.
I frankly didn't understand why until 15 minutes before the climax. And then,it all comes rushing back to you!

Unknown - Five men, wake up in a warehouse with memory loss. One has a gunshot wound and one is tied up.
Rendition - Very good! U.S Govt detains suspected terrorists in foreign prisons.
Atonement - Okay. A girl's imagination ruins a guy's life.
Lust Caution - Good! Chinese underground during Japanese occupation.
Mean Machine - Convicts in a British prison take on the guards in a football match.
Awake - Jessica Alba. Nice!!

South Park

A slight deviation from Movies to TV comedy series

Are there any South Park fans out here ?

For those of you who have not watched it, Its a animated serial (Not for kids) which is outright Hilarious and Bold.
