License To Wed: The last time Robin Williams pissed me off was in 'One Night At The Museum'. This was no exception. Hollow and completely mindless script, jokes were average at best. So was the alcohol. All put together, 'ho-hum' material. Strictly avoidable.

Dhamaal: Yet another childish comedy with heaps of hamming. Borrowing scenes from Mr. Bean, Road Trip, Gods Must Be Crazy etc, this is one boring movie - and not so because there are no leading ladies in it. Some funny moments from Sanju Baba, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh and Javed Jaffrey, but yet a very drab affair on the whole.

Zodiac - Murder mystery. A true story from back in the 1968's. Nice movie, goes very slow and in the end its not the cops who crack the identity of the mass murderer but..... Well for that you need to watch the movie.

Dhamaal - This is one GAGGY movie. Simply put its an event/chain of gags put to-gather and somehow keeping them in sequence to make a movie. As B&T says - no leading lady and 4 comedy heroes and whole support cast of comedians with Sanju baba in the mix.

1st half is tolerable and 2nd half drags. Javed Jaffery rocks (imitating Hrithik of Koi Mil Gaya) and others are adept.

Verdict - 2/5. Watch it for a few chuckles if you have nothing to do.

Yep. This is a good movie!

I just finished watching the Extended Editions of the three Lord of the Rings movies yesterday night. I'm a huge fan of Tolkien and I've read the book, and watched the theater version of the movies many times.

I just got the Extended DVD versions of all 3 movies the day before yesterday and (whew) I finished watching all 3 of them in just 2 days. The Extended versions have a whole lot of scenes (mostly character development and story development) that got cut in the theater version. About 20 minutes of scenes get added to each movie.

I've snagged an extended director's cut of Kingdom of Heaven (another movie I've loved watching). Will be watching that tomorrow weekend.

Has that been released on DVD?

I watched My Cousin Vinny on DVD this weekend, hadn't seen it in couple of years. I have probably seen it 20 times, yet it is like new everytime. Who can forget Marisa Tomei in her Oscar winning role. Just see her respond to How can you be so sure?

Hannibal Rising (2007)

Its is the story of Hannibal Lecter's childhood and early years.

The actor (Gaspard Ulliel) who played Hannibal had a lot to live up to in the film and for me he did total justice to his role.

Glory Road - A coach of a women's basketball team is hired to coach a college team - and he gets in 7 black players from different parts of the country. The team starts winning but the hatred against niggers and inter team rivalry keeps the coach busy.

Quite like CHAK DE. I wonder whether Chak De was inspired from here.

Watch it.
