I'm waiting for next weekend Madagascar 2 - Escape to Africa. The first one was awesome and funny and the promos of the sequel look equally good. King Julian (Ali G) is back along with Alex and Co. Yes this one has those 4 pesky penguins as well
I couldn't wait and downloaded it from a torrent.
You bet its great.

have you Guys seen the Dil Kabbadi review on NDTV or Zoom ( i couldn't remember), where they call the director/producer and audience to fire question on them about their new creations.

After lot of blah blah, creativity this and that. One of the guy from audience claimed that it was a copy from Woody allens Husband and Wives, and he has the copy of DVD he can lend it to directors to match both.
Guess what they answered? We already have the copy of it. How shameless.

Yes. it was a nice movie but as you right said a one time watch except for one seen where they interview a cheerleader, i rewinded a few times.

I like Ben Stiller in any movie. And, Owen Wilson's dialogue delivery is quite nice, with a twang accent.

Any feedbacks on "The Italian Job" the 2003 version? Is it better than the older one?

Caught up with Grease 2 on DVD . Nice but the first one still rocks over this one.

While i have not watched the older one, i felt the new one is good in itself. I liked the Minis they used in it, as well as the pace of the movie.

+1 on that. Haven't seen the older one but i liked the new one a lot and at that time only i think Ocean eleven was going on and i felt Italian job is better than that due to its fast pace.

Dasvidaniya

Oh My God !! I am kicking myself for not watching this movie, till now !

Just finished watching the movie - and I had a smile on my lips and tears in my eyes. Such a fantastic movie - simply superb.

Vinay rocks !! I cried with him when he is just about to commit suicide and stood up and laughed with him when he turns the table son his boss !

Verdict - 4.5/5
You cannot afford to miss this movie.

I nearly broke down when i realized that the copy of Dasvidaniya which i had gotten from my friend was only the first part of it.

Need to lay my hands on the second part to complete watching it. A must watch, if you ask me.... and this based on watching the first part alone.
A proper Bennyboy rating and review will be put up later.

Almost spoilt my weekend by watching a movie, I had too much expectations on.
1) The Day the Earth stood still - 2.5/5
Felt the old one was much better.
2) Final Fantasy - Spirits within - 5/5
Amazing CG and a fantastic soundtrack, incase you havent heard it.

Rocky.

Agree with Rocky,I spoilt my weekend too by watching The Day The Earth Stood Still.Expected a lot since it was a Sci-Fi flick but turned out to be a dud.1 out of 5 for this one.
Last two movies I watched were both very good,Quantum of Solace was good while Mirrors was very well made.
Looking forward to the new film releasing this weekend starring Jason Statham(forgot the name, something with a King in it) and Ghajini.
PS-Goofed up by missing out on Rock n Rolla.Has anyone seen it?

I'm glad you liked it. I work at DreamWorks Animation in Bangalore. Though I did not work on the film I did some work on some promo spots and posters etc. I hope the film is well received in India when it releases!
