Checked out " Taxi" last night Starring- Queen Latifah, Jimmy Falone and Gisele Bundchen

It's a so so movie, nothing great as the acting by all seems to be a big effort except for Latifah, she is cool as always. Gisele Bundchen is really awesome to look at, perfect supermodel

Scenes to check out :

a) Opening credits has Queen Latifah ride a bicycle through busy streets of NY and she drives through every possible nook and corner to reach her destination, very nicely shot

b) Queen latifah drives her taxi to drop a passenger to the airport, real cool drive scene and humorous too.

Cars to watch out for : A red bmw 760 and Queen's modified Crown Vic

All in all, its a time pass movie

1.5/5

It was Henry Fonda. Anyway, I too was surprised to see him play bad guy, that too in his opening scene he shoots the boy, and that is after killing every other family member from far distance. Just like in Sholey. That's how I made the connection.

Yes, the sound effects of the environment is really noticeable. Same was copied in Sholey too. Sholey was the first Indian movie which made you hear every little sound, like dropping of the coin, dragging sound of cardridge belt on rock, sound of cocking the rifle (during the hemamalini dance), rifle shootout during the famous bridge fight at the end, etc.

I didn't listen to you guys!, watched it! Watched Babylon AD.

Felt like they fired the story writer when the movie was halfway through.

@ SLK - Hello was crap. call centers or any professional offices are not like that. Bull**** movie.
I found it crap that the guy wanted a Merc to take his friend hospital. Stupid story.

@dippy - It was indeed Merc as the sign was there in front and also the design. Maybe some modifications might have been done.

Saw Hello last night.

What a call center set-up? It looked like someones house to me.Which call center lets their employee use their chevy tavera and roam about in the night during their business hours?

Also, Dilip Tahil was loud, boisterious and looked hard to act funny

Only Sharman and Sohail were the saving grace. Did anyone notice, these days sohail is increasingly copying his famous brother in some mannerisms.

Another plus point of the movie was the ravishing Gul Panag, i am completely jealous of Sharman, lucky bloke!
