Kidnap

Caught up with Kidnap this afternoon. I was really looking forward to something different but came away disappointed. Story is about a young guy kidnapping a billionaire's daughter against some personal grudges. Sanjay Dutt looks too old. Imran Khan is decent. Minissha in her hottest avtaar ever, leave alone her acting. All she does is look hot and sizzling. Vidya Malvade(goalkeeper of Chak De) plays her mother. She actually looks like her elder sister. Music isnt good at all except for the last track during the titles.

Avaoidable : 2/5

She looks like her younger sister actually. Infact Lamba could be cast as her mother too, no big difference.
What a stupid idiotic movie! 1/5

Much better was expected of Kidnap, i agree. The whole theater actually laughed when minissha called vidya mother! And the skimpy clothes she kept changing into in every scene while she was kept prisoner lol!

Imagine the plight of the kidnapper when you have such a sexy hostage. On another note even most of the dialogues were corny.

Has anyone seen Drona? I dont have the guts to see it. I'm sure it is nothing but rona

Dippy,

Saw Drona last night at Metro. 25% of the audience left midway. Its a really pathetic movie which has copy cat characters from Harry Potter, Lord of The Rings, Spiderman, Joker, etc.

The only saving grace if you may call it that is Priyanka.

I'll be a little generous and give 0.5/5

Children Of Glory - Hungarian movie set during the 1956 uprising. Very good. 4/5.

The Forbidden Kingdom - Expected a lot from this one. Jackie Chan and Jet Li together. A kid gets transported to ancient China to fulfill a prophecy. Kiddish. 2.5/5.

KIDNAP was like the worst of all movies i have ever watched....

to begin with Minisha was sizzling hot.

Well thats about it :P

No-one took the movie seriously and the whole audience were laughing out.

The dialogues were sickk..... (The dialogue writer must have been smoking Grass when he wrote all that)

Still having the head ache from the movie....

Is it only me? I don't find Minnisha hot at all.

If you look at her face carefully she looks horribly old even with all that paste on her face. I can only think of puking when i look at her.

But, then you may argue with me, who is looking at her face?

Catched up on " Ring 2" last night.

It was a continuation to the first part where the mother and son duo move to a remote town in Portland to run away from the evil spirit of SAMARA but it continues to follow them and haunt them here as well.

Folks who have seen the first part, will know how well made the movie was. There is no doubt the second part is equally good in holding the suspense, thrill and action part.

There is one particular scene, where the mom and son are driving on a tree lined highway and are attacked by Reindeers. Omigosh, what a spectacular shot

Really amazing suspense thriller. Don't miss it

4/5

A Wednesday

Absolutely brilliant movie. Dealing with an issue and a threat which is quite in sync with the happenings of the recent times, and it scores well. Good performances from the stalwarts, who were brilliantly supported by the supporting cast.

The way Anupam Kher takes stock of the situation, and rises to the occassion is noteworthy, not to forget Naseeruddin Shah's efforts as well. Jimmy had a great outing, and the scene where the bandit pisses in his pants seeing him is quite convincing. The ending was a clever twist, although i kinda predicted it.

All in all, deserves a watch for sure.

Bennyboy Rating : ****

Perfectly agree with your rating. Too good movie. However, i felt Naseer was better than Anupam in more than a few scenes. Maybe, i am just a bigger fan of Naseer than Anupam
