Universal Studios Hollywood has announced the release date for the 10th instalment in the Fast & Furious movie franchise.

The Fast & Furious 10 or Fast 10, as popularly called, will open in theatres across the USA on April 7, 2023. The Fast 10 will be the penultimate instalment of the long-running Fast & Furious saga. Fast 10 was initially scheduled to release on April 2 this year. However, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, it had to be pushed to a later date.



Both the 10th and 11th instalments of the movie franchise will be directed by Justin Lin, who has been at the helm of five of the previous nine movies in the series. The Fast 10 will witness Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang and many others reprising their roles yet again.

The Fast & Furious movie franchise began in 2001 and has over the years created quite a following. The franchise is said to come to its conclusion with the 11th instalment being the final chapter.

Space exploration is done. I believe the next logical step in the movie series would be time travel to the future and save an apocalypse only to learn it was something to do with the “family” in the past and the last one with a travel to the past to prevent the “family” from being formed. The fast and furious series sure does follow the fan fantasy!

In my humble opinion, high time this happened. After Tokyo Drift, the series really mutated into something different altogether and Dom the superman came into being.

A few of the later movies after that did have their moments but ultimately mostly forgetful.

Will i watch this? Of course. At least to say goodbye to the series that gave birth to a whol era of car mods

I was casually browsing Tbhp and saw the above hyperlink. Then I saw this thread from Aug21 stating Fast9 is going to be released.

Gosh, I never knew 9 came along or for that matter 5-6-7-8 or I dont really recall what was the last one I enjoyed. I remember a LARGE safebox being pulled by two Dodge Charger (IIRC) around Brazilian streets, Rock was driving some large car shaped truck.

Man how long ago was it, dont know really, have to google for it.

No offence... at this rate the characters will actually start dying in their real lives in say 10-15 years time. Hope F&F stops @ X!
